Oregon junior Melia Moyer has been selected as the Athlete of the Week after a vote on WSN. 

There were 2,478 votes this week; Moyer received 914 votes and Eau Claire North's Sam Stange finished second with 609 votes.

Moyer helped lead Oregon to the Division 2 WIAA state title on Saturday. She finished with three saves in a 2-0 win over Brookfield East in a state semifinal.

In the state championship game, Moyer recorded 10 saves in the 4-1 shootout victory after the two teams were tied 1-1 after regulation and two overtime periods. 

Oregon captures its second state title in five state appearances.
