Winnebago Lutheran senior Kalan Narance has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week after a vote on WSN. 

There were 2,474 total votes this week; Narance received 852 votes and Burlington's Dalton Damon finished second with 677 votes.

Kalan played a superb first two games in net as the Winnebago Lutheran boys soccer team began the season with two impressive wins. Those two victories helped Winnebago Lutheran come in ranked third in the first Coaches rankings.

Tuesday the Vikings took on now, fifth-ranked Kohler, whom ended their season last year in a regional final matchup. Kalan shut out Kohler, recording 10 saves on the day, in the 2-0 victory. He followed that up with another 12 saves as Winnebago downed Kettle Moraine Lutheran 4-2, a team that advanced to the state semi-finals last season.
