Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year.

Unlike the other divisions, there was considerable stability in Division 1 this week, as no ranked teams suffered defeat. That leaves Muskego on top of the rankings, followed closely by Kimberly. Bay Port, Fond du Lac, and Verona round out the top five. The only change is at the bottom, where Sun Prairie narrowly edges ahead of Appleton East.

Waunakee keeps dominating the Division 2 rankings, with Homestead following close behind. Third-ranked Brookfield East lost a dogfight against number ten Menomonee Falls, as both teams moved considerably this week. East dropped to seventh, while Menomonee Falls shot up to fourth. Who would have thought that midway through the season, Menomonee Falls would be the last remaining unbeaten team and highest-ranked squad from the Greater Metro Conference. Superior makes a move as well this week, as the Spartans go from unranked to ninth. Waukesha West's second loss of the year drops the Wolverines out of the poll.

The big intrigue in this week's poll revolved around the top spot in the Division 3 rankings. Defending state champion Catholic Memorial was upended by Kettle Moraine in a shocker, but second-ranked New Berlin Eisenhower also went down to New Berlin West. As such, Catholic Memorial retains the top ranking this week, followed by Menasha. Eisenhower, who missed a number of players last week after a hazing scandal was revealed, drops to fifth. Division 3 continues to be the most topsy-turvy division in the state, as three new teams move in to the rankings this week: Evansville, Reedsburg, and Rhinelander. Berlin, Pewaukee, and Greendale all drop out.

Racine St. Catherine's is a near unanimous choice in the top spot of the Division 4 rankings his week, with Wrightstown coming in second once again. When Martin Luther lost an instant classic against Racine Lutheran last Thursday, it opened the door for Kiel to move to third and Saint Croix Central to fourth. Martin Luther drops two spots to fifth this week. A loss by Little Chute caused the Mustangs to tumble out of the poll, allowing undefeated Winneconne to enter the rankings this week.

Stratford is a unanimous number one pick in the Week 4 WisSports.net Coaches Poll, though Amherst and Lancaster are pretty solid in the two and three spots. There were other changes in the top five, however, as fourth-ranked Cedar Grove-Belgium was shutout by Hilbert and falls to eighth, while Colby lost in a running clock against Spring Valley and goes from fifth to completely out of the poll. Lake Country Lutheran moves up to fourth while defending champion Saint Mary's Springs goes to fifth. Bloomer and Saint John's Northwestern Military Academy enter the rankings for the first time this week.

Regis continues as a clear favorite in the Division 6 Coaches Poll, as Racine Lutheran, Mineral Point, Abbotsford, and Spring Valley round out the top five once again. The only change is a big one, however, as a third loss on the season for defending champion Iola-Scandinavia drops the T-Birds out of the rankings completely, allowing Markesan to move in at tenth.

The top three of Division 7 has been the same for what seems like three years now, with the teams taking turns rotating in the first three spots. This week, defending state champion Black Hawk/Warren (IL) jumps from third to first, with Bangor sliding to second and Edgar to third. New teams to this week's rankings, which features all undefeated teams, are Randolph and De Soto.

The top of 8-Player Football is clarifying, as five unbeaten teams remaining, occupying the top five positions in the rankings once again, led by Luck. The rest? Well, it has been all over the place. Last week, four teams in the bottom half of the rankings went down, with just Wisconsin Heights, ranked tenth now, remaining in the poll. Algoma, Belmont, and Gibraltar re-enter the rankings this week.
