Waupun senior Baron Buchholz has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week after a vote on WSN. 

There were 2,972 total votes this week. Buccholz received 1,131 votes and Oshkosh West's Eva Beeth finished second with 935 votes.

Waupun went an undefeated 4-0 last week thanks to the stellar play of Buchholz, a 2018 East Central All-Conference pick. IN a 4-2 win over Central Wisconsin Christian, he recorded a goal and an assist. Baron followed that up with an extremely productive four goal, four assist game in an 11-1 win over Winneconne. He added four more goals in a 10-1 win over Campbellsport and finished off the week with two more goals and an assist in a 4-0 win over Notre Dame. Barron finished the week with 11 goals and six assists in the four contests.

Waupun is 7-4 on the year and currently on a six-game winning streak. This past Tuesday, Baron continued his hot streak, netting three goals and adding an assist in an 11-1 win over East Central Conference foe Berlin.
