Homestead freshman Khristian Hoard has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week after a vote on WSN. 

There were 3,032 total votes this week. Hoard received 1,047 votes and Eau Claire North's Maria Venne finished second with 782 votes.

Khristian had quite a week last week helping the undefeated Homestead team to a pair of victories. In a 9-2 North Shore Conference victory over Grafton, Khristian recorded his first ever hat trick. He then added a goal and two assists in a 9-1 win over another North Shore Conference foe, West Bend East. 

The Homestead boys soccer team is one of the top ranked teams in Division 1, coming in at number five in this week's Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association rankings and Khristian, just a freshman, has been a solid contributor thus far. He is third on the team in points with 11 thus far in the season.
