Logan Stuart of Suring has been selected as the Week 7 Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day kept the Eagles tied atop the MONLPC-8 standings. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 7. A total of 7,563 votes were cast, as Stuart's 2,944 were enough to edge second place Cole Wisniewski of Sparta, who tallied 2,032 votes.

Three teams entered Week 7 tied atop the MONLPC-8, but there was guaranteed to be less than that when the week ended, as Suring and Florence squared off with a share of first on the line. Up 28-12 at halftime, Suring would hang on for a 42-26 victory to remain tied with Gibraltar atop the league standings. Logan Stuart was a monster once again, carrying the ball 45 times for 378 yards and five touchdowns. He also led the team with 14 tackles and forced a fumble. He currently leads all of 8-Player Football in rushing yards (1,823) and tackles (108) on the season.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named WisSports.net Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 8 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
