Favorite Sport (and why): "My favorite sport is basketball because I love the competitiveness as well as the team aspect of it. I never get more excited for an athletic event than I do for Friday night home basketball games because I know that people will support us, whether it be our classmates, our parents, the 7th grade Jr. Dukes team or alumni of Bay Basketball coming back to cheer us on."

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): "I think the best part of high school sports is building friendships with girls that you spend high school with, both from an athletic perspective as well as in the classroom. These relationships transcend most other friendships in high school because the connections made involve a certain trust, understanding and respect that are difficult to find outside of competitive sports."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "The best advice I have ever received from a high school coach is to keep shooting. My basketball coach reminds me of this during most games and practices, especially when I miss a few shots in a row. This advice, although specific to basketball, has helped me in life overall. It reminds me to keep trying, to keep pushing myself at everything I set my mind to regardless of any setbacks or difficulties I experience."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "Winning the sectional championship for basketball my junior year was an indescribable moment that is probably my favorite memory. Witnessing all of the hard work that our team collectively put in over the course of the year come to fruition in such an unbelievable way was an experience I will not forget."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "I really enjoy always being busy during the year and having new seasons to look forward to. Playing three sports has also allowed me to become close friends with a wide variety of people on my different teams."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "Never really having a break during the year can take a toll on your body. It is difficult to transition from sport to sport without much time to recuperate both physically and mentally."

Favorite Opponent (and why): "Homestead, for every sport, is probably my favorite opponent. I love playing against them because they always field competitive teams that make achieving a victory against them both difficult and rewarding. Additionally, the storied and intense rivalry between our schools make any Homestead game an exciting one."

Favorite Professional Team: The Bucks of course!

Favorite Professional Athlete: Pat Connaughton

Favorite College Team: Notre Dame Football

Cumulative GPA: 3.8

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): "Sydney Hilliard from the state semifinals for basketball was probably the toughest individual I have competed against. She dominated our team through her ability to patiently break down our zone defense and score with efficient moves that were very difficult to predict. However, her skill alone didn't make her the most difficult competitor I have faced. What I found to be most challenging was her determined demeanor; she never showed discouragement or frustration, instead she remained positive and focused."

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "Ellie Clements is the teammate that I most admire because she taught me how to lead. She was not a very vocal player but she always could convey encouragement, support and intensity through her actions."

College Plans: "I am still trying to decide whether I want to continue to play sports at the varsity level in college. I have a couple Division III options for basketball and I’ve been in some conversations with coaches about playing soccer, but I haven’t made any decisions yet. If I don’t play a varsity sport in college, I would love to play club tennis."

Activities Outside of Sports: "I have been playing classical piano very seriously since I was about five and I absolutely love it. I volunteer at the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (which gets me free tickets to the Symphony!). Also I love to write and am currently working on a book detailing the history of my local parish and grade school, Saint Monica in Whitefish Bay."

I Find it Relaxing to: "In addition to playing piano, I love to read on days that aren't sunny; otherwise I’m doing something outside."
