Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year.

Division 1

Muskego remains a heavy favorite in the WisSports.net Division 1 Coaches Poll, though Kimberly has flipped ahead of Bay Port for the second spot. Mukwonago moved up a couple positions from ninth to seventh, but none of last week's ranked teams suffered a loss.

Division 2

Waunakee continues to hold down the top spot in the crowded and competitive Division 2 poll. West De Pere and Hartford are again in the top three, but Homestead's second loss of the season, ending a run of 18 straight years with at least a share of the North Shore Conference crown, drops the defending champion Highlanders from fourth to ninth this week. Menomonee Falls and Superior drop out completely, as Brookfield Central and Hortonville move in. Of note, number one Waunakee will take on number four DeForest this week.

Division 3

There were no changes in the top five of the D3 rankings, where defending champion Catholic Memorial still holds a strong lead despite two losses this year. Former number six Evansville suffered its first loss of the season to McFarland, dropping the Blue Devils completely out of the rankings. Greendale moves back in for the first time since early in the season.

Division 4

Kiel continues to dominate the Division 4 rankings, with unbeaten Freedom, defending champion Racine St. Catherine's, and undefeated Northwestern all very much in the mix. Martin Luther's second loss dropped the Spartans from fifth to tenth, while Baldwin-Woodville made a huge jump this week from out of the poll to sixth.

Division 5

Stratford's win over Edgar keeps the Tigers at the top of the poll, though the team isn't a unanimous number one selection in Division 5. A very strong and deep division, there were no losses by ranked teams last week.

Division 6

Regis is still the top-ranked team in Division 6, though once again there were several different teams that received top votes. There are no changes in the top seven, as Spring Valley remains at number five despite a close first loss to Mondovi. Lake Holcombe/Cornell drops out this week, with Coleman moving in at number nine. Darlington's third loss slides the Redbirds from eighth to tenth.

Division 7

Despite Edgar's six point loss to Stratford, it remains all about the top three teams in the division once again, with defending champion Black Hawk/Warren (IL) on top followed by Bangor and Edgar. Unbeaten teams Hilbert, Lourdes Academy, and Almond-Bancroft followed. Johnson Creek remains in seventh despite suffering its first loss of the year against Lourdes Academy. Hurley and Gilman move into the poll as De Soto and River Ridge depart.

8-Player

Luck and Newman Catholic, ranked second and third respectively, continue to dominate the 8-Player rankings. Newman's win over Phillips dropped the Loggers from third to fifth this week, as Belmont and Algoma move up one spot in the top five. Florence re-enters the rankings at number ten, replacing Bruce.
