WisSports.net Level 3 Player of the Week Nominees

Lincoln Cullen, Amherst

Amherst found itself in quite a dogfight with Chilton on Friday before prevailing in a 24-19 victory. The Falcons' first score was a 52-yard strike from Lincoln Cullen to Ian Hall, while their last one was a 63-yard touchdown pass from Cullen to Carmelo Aleman. While he attempted just eight passes, Cullen was incredibly efficient, completing seven of them for 220 yards and two scores to post a perfect 158.3 passer rating. He added 25 yards on the ground as well in the victory.

Dalton Feddick, Abbotsford

Abbotsford's Dalton Feddick helped the Falcons get out to a 14-0 first quarter lead with a pair of rushing touchdowns, and it was just the beginning of a huge day for the senior quarterback. In leading the team to a 44-24 win over Coleman, he'd finish with 354 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries as the Falcons are into the state semi-finals for the third time in the last four seasons. Feddick also went over 2000 rushing yards on the season in the victory.

Isaiah Gash, Bay Port

Bay Port senior running back Isaiah Gash missed a couple games in the regular season due to injury but has certainly made up for lost time in the playoffs. After going for 315 yards and four touchdowns in a dominating win over Green Bay Preble last week, he posted 271 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries as the Pirates pulled away from Marquette for a 56-28 victory. Gash's first score went for 77 yards in the first quarter, as he added a 57-yarder to open the fourth and give the team some breathing room.

Carter Horstman, Bangor

Bangor got a closer than anticipated game against Turtle Lake on Friday, but behind a big day from Carter Horstman, the Cardinals pulled away for a 28-12 victory. Hortsman was a workhorse, carrying the ball 33 times for 222 yards and all four of the team's touchdowns. His 13-yard scamper with 4:26 left in the fourth quarter allowed the Cardinals to finally put the game away. His job wasn't done when the offense left the field, however, as the outstanding middle linebacker had seven tackles and a pair of interceptions over on defense, adding a 17-yard kick return as well.

Donavan Hunt, Brookfield East

Brookfield East went on the road and scored a decisive 34-6 win over Menononee Falls on Friday, avenging an earlier loss in the regular season. Donavan Hunt opened the scoring for the Spartans with a 19-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter, then put the game away with a pair of short scoring runs in the final 2:30 of the game. He'd finish with 201 yards and three touchdowns on 38 carries as the team advances to the state semi-finals.
