Isaiah Gash of Bay Port has been selected as the Level 3 Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day helped the Pirates remain unbeaten and advance to the state semi-finals in Division 1. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Level 3. A total of 3,338 votes were cast, as Gash's 1,155 were enough to edge second place Lincoln Cullen of Amherst, who tallied 828 votes.

Bay Port senior running back Isaiah Gash missed a couple games in the regular season due to injury but has certainly made up for lost time in the playoffs. After going for 315 yards and four touchdowns in a dominating win over Green Bay Preble last week, he posted 271 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries as the Pirates pulled away from Marquette for a 56-28 victory. Gash's first score went for 77 yards in the first quarter, as he added a 57-yarder to open the fourth and give the team some breathing room.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named WisSports.net Player of the Week is to vote and share the word.
