Favorite Sport: "I love all three sports that I play, but I fell in love with basketball when I got the opportunity as a kid to be a manager for the Mineral Point varsity basketball team. My cousin, Sy Staver, was the point guard on that team and we made it all the way to the state-championship game at the Kohl Center. I grew up idolizing that group of guys and wanted to be just like them."

Best Part of High School Sports: "The best part of high school sports for me has been playing for Mineral Point. We have a really special community that supports our players through all of the highs and lows that come with being an athlete. There is nothing quite like following the fire trucks through town when we are winning games during our tournament runs."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "The best advice that I got from one of my coaches was to trust the process and don't cut any corners. He said that if I did things the right way and led by example, we'd have a lot of fun during my high school career."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "We've had a lot of great moments over the past few years, but my most memorable experience so far has been playing at the state baseball tournament. We made it there my sophomore year, and then made it to the championship game my junior year. It would be great if we could cap it off this spring and bring home a title as seniors."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "My favorite part of playing three sports is the bond that I've been able to create with all of my teammates. Mineral Point is a smaller school and mos tof ur guys play all three sports together. We truly are a family and put each other first. There are ups and downs during each season and knowing I have my Pointer brothers with me is the best part."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "The toughest part of playing three sports has definitely been time management. I've been blessed with great coaches who understand the time necessary to be committed to each sport, but it has always been tough whenever I've had to make a choice of one thing over the other. I'm just thankful that my teammates and coaches have supported my decisions no matter what."

Favorite Opponent: "My favorite opponent has always been Cuba City. Coach (Jerry) Petitgoue has the most wins in state history so any time you can find a way to get a win against them, it's special. Their head baseball coach, Steve Graber, is originally from Mineral Point and is a good friend of my dad's, so that has always made those games fun as well."

Favorite Professional Team: Milwaukee Bucks

Favorite Professional Athlete: Tyler Herro of Miami Heat

Favorite College Team: UNLV

Cumulative GPA: 4.0

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: "When I was a freshman, I got invited to the CP3 Basketball Camp in North Carolina. While I was there, I got to play against RJ Hampton, who is now playing professionally in New Zealand. That guy was the toughest player I have ever competed against."

College Plans: "I just signed my National Letter of Intent to play basketball at UNLV. I will be working towards earning a business degree with an emphasis on athletics. My goal is to have a career that involves sports in one form or another."

Activities Outside of Sports: "Although sports takes up the majority of my time, I have also been a class officer, a member of the Yearbook staff, part of the Pointer Media organization, participated in state forensics, Future Business Leaders of America and the National Honor Society."

I Find it Relaxing to: "Go downhill skiing, even though it makes my parents and coaches nervous when I do."
