Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of November 25 through December 1. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: Nov. 25-Dec.1

Chloe Van Zeeland, Kaukauna girls basketball: Chloe was integral to the two impressive wins the Kaukauna girls team posted over preseason ranked Division 1 opponents last week. In a matchup with Fox Valley Association foe, and the third ranked team in the WSN Division 1 preseason rankings Kimberly, Chloe came up one rebound shy of a double-double. She had 12 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in the 53-49 win over the Papermakers. Kaukauna then squared off with Division 1, tenth ranked Oak Creek at the Brookfield Central Thanksgiving Shootout. Chloe dropped 15 points and added seven rebounds and four steals in the 46-36 win.

Emily LaChapell, Appleton East girls basketball: Emily came one rebound shy of back-to-back double-doubles in a pair of Appleton East wins over the week. She led the team with 21 points, on eight of ten shooting, in a 61-29 win over Wisconsin Rapids. Emily added nine rebounds and eight assists in the win. She followed up her almost triple-double with a 13 point, 11 rebound performance in a 46-43 win over Brookfield Central at their home Thanksgiving shootout.

Lauren Schill, Pewaukee girls basketball: Lauren averaged 19 points per game over two games last week as Pewaukee improved their season to 3-0. In a 65-31 win over Franklin, she had 22 points, five rebounds, and three steals. Lauren followed that up with 16 points in a 72-57 win over Milwaukee King at the Brookfield Central Thanksgiving Shootout.

Quinton Tranel, Port Edwards boys basketball: Quinton propelled Port Edwards to a pair of wins at the Cranberry Classic held at Assumption High School over the weekend. In a tight 70-68 win over Columbus Catholic, Quinton led all scorers with a career high 32 points. He followed that up with 18 points as Port Edwards took down Nekoosa 49-36 on Saturday.

Cael McGee, Stoughton boys basketball: Cael averaged just under 20 points per contest as the Stoughton boys basketball team picked up a pair of impressive victories this past week. In a 53-44 win over a talented Lake Mills squad, Cael had a game high 22 points. He went on to score another 17 in 65-52 victory over McFarland.
