Lexi Donarski, Aquinas girls basketball: Lexi has been a prolific basketball player in the state of Wisconsin since her freshman season, three years ago. This past week in a 94-41 win over Sparta, her 23 points put her in the record books. She broke Aquinas High School's all-time scoring record, having amassed 1,651 points up to this point in her prep career. Lexi followed that up with 25 points in a 75-35 win over Division 2, sixth-ranked Onalaska. She shot a combined 16 of 23 (70%) from the field and totaled 15 assists and 14 steals in the two games.

Jake Stritesky, Badger wrestling: Jake came into the Badger State Invitational ranked fourth in his weight class of 132 pounds in the state. Saturday, he went 4-0 en route to capturing an individual championship at that weight. To get there, he beat Division 2, third-ranked Cale Anderson of Viroqua 10-6 in the semifinals. In the finals he squared off with Division 3, seventh-ranked Brody Lee of Fennimore and pinned him in 5:43 to secure the championship.

Cam Jaeger, Oostburg boys basketball: Despite only playing one game this past week, Oostburg had a tall task ahead of them. They squared off with the top ranked team in Division 5 in the state, Sheboygan Lutheran in a Big East Conference clash. Even though Sheboygan took a six point lead into the half, Oostburg prevailed with a 73-69 win. Cam had a team high 28 points in the winning effort, knocking off the previously unbeaten Crusaders.

Will Fuhrmann, Reedsburg boys basketball: Reedsburg is off to a hot start to the 2019-20 boys basketball season. The Beavers are a perfect 6-0 on the year. Will has been a catalyst all year for Reedsburg and that didn't change this past week in two Badger Conference wins. First in a 72-68 squeaker over Beaver Dam, Will tallied 19 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists. He followed that up with 19 points, seven rebounds, and six assists in a 75-57 win over rival Baraboo. Will was 11 of 18 combined from the field in the two victories.
