Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of December 23 through 29. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: Dec. 23-29

Samantha Leisemann, Fall River girls basketball: Samantha was pivotal to the success of the Fall River squad as they hosted their own Holiday Tournament this past weekend. She put together a pair of double-doubles in wins over Mayville and Clinton. In the 55-42 win over Mayville, Samantha had 14 points, 17 rebounds, and added four blocks. She followed that up with 11 points, 19 rebounds, and another six blocks in a 59-56 win over Clinton.

Macy McGlone, Hortonville girls basketball: Despite only one game this past week, Macy excelled on the hardwood as Hortonville picked up a 64-48 win over Reedsburg at the Watertown Holiday Shootout. Macy, who is a UW-Milwuakee commit, had a team high 22 points to lead the Polar Bears to a decisive win over the Beavers.

Preston Morgan, Berlin wrestling: Preston went a perfect 5-0 as he won the individual title at 160 pounds at the 67 team On The Water Classic in Oshkosh. In his five wins, he secured three wins. Preston was so dominant, he was named the overall tournament's Outstanding Wrestler.

Jacob Ognacevic, Sheboygan Lutheran boys basketball: The Division 5 top ranked Sheboygan Lutheran squad picked up a pair of impressive wins at the WBY Shootout hosted at Concordia University. In an impressive 93-74 win over Lake Country Lutheran, Jacob recorded his fourth, 40-point game, scoring 45 points and adding 18 rebounds. Jacob followed that up with 29 points and 15 rebounds in a 70-69 thriller over Edgerton.

Tyrese Hunter, Racine St. Catherine's boys basketball: Tyrese has been incredible all season and showed out as the Angels picked up a pair of wins at the UW-Stevens Point Sentry Classic. In a 79-68 win over Stevens Point, Tyrese had 26 points. He followed that up with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in a 78-36 win over Wisconsin Rapids.
