Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of December 30 through January 5. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: Dec. 30 - Jan. 5

Olivia Sobczak, Oconomowoc girls basketball: Oconomowoc only got in one game this past week, but scored a 53-40 victory over Muskego. Olivia was sensational in the win as she poured in 18 points from the floor and hauled in 18 rebounds as well.

Mia Morel, Madison Memorial girls basketball: Mia was spectacular as Madison Memorial picked up a pair of victories this past week. First they scored a 60-40 win over Seton Catholic out of Arizona at the Rock Holiday Classic. In their third win at the Classic, Mia scored 10 points while adding eight rebounds and three assists and steals. Mia then had a game high 25 points as Madison Memorial throttled Beloit Memorial 103-29.

Keegan O'Toole, Arrowhead wrestling: Keegan was absolutely dominant this past weekend at the Cheese Invitational held in Kaukauna. The number one ranked wrestler in the nation in his weight class according to InterMat, went 6-0 with three pins and two tech falls to take home an individual title in the 160 pound weight class. Keegan faced off with eighth ranked Luke Odom of Edwardsville (IL), who's won the Cheesehead twice, in the championship bout. Keegan took him down 10-5 to take the title.

Peyton Rogers, Ladysmith boys basketball: Peyton put together an impressive week last week as Ladysmith took home three victories. In a tight 64-62 win over Mellen, he scored 14 points. He followed that up with 31 points, eight rebounds, and three steals in a 71-31 win over Flambeau. Peyton finished the week off recording a double-double in a 61-59 squeaker over Spooner. Peyton had 26 points and 14 rebounds in the win.

Jack Beckner, Roncalli boys basketball: Roncalli squared off with the undefeated and Division 4, seventh ranked Lourdes team. Jack scored a season high 24 points as Roncalli topped Lourdes 77-72 in overtime. Jack scored 21 of those points from beyond the arc, making seven of ten shots from three point range.
