Wisconsin Wrestling Online released its latest rankings Wednesday. Get a look at notable movements from both a team and individual perspective.

The Teams

Division 1

For the second straight week, Mukwonago is atop the D1 team rankings. The rest of the top-5 held steady with Stoughton, Kaukauna, Burlington and De Pere appearing in that order. 

Bay Port is up to sixth. The Pirates were ninth last week.  Hudson slips from sixth to seventh. Wisconsin Rapids is up two spots to eighth, while Kimberly slips two positions to ninth. Ashwaubenon is up a place to tenth and Holmen is also up a position to No. 11. 

River Falls moves up to No. 12 from honorable mention. Arrowhead dropped from No. 8 to honorable mention. Waunakee gets an honorable mention nod this week after not appearing in last week’s rankings.

Division 2

Wrightstown maintains its grasp upon D2. The Tigers topped former No. 2 Denmark 54-12 last week. Luxemburg-Casco is up to No. 2 from the third position, while Prairie du Chien bumps up a spot to take third.  GET/Melrose-Mindoro is fourth, followed by aforementioned Denmark who now sits in fifth.  The rest of the top-12 held steady. 

Winneconne and Evanvsille/Albany are now honorable mention after being left out of last week’s rankings. 

Division 3

Coleman leads the charge in D3 followed by Fennimore and Stratford. Saint Croix Falls is up to No. 4, while Cadott moves up a place to No. 5. Mineral Point is up a position to sixth. Random Lake fell from fourth to seventh. The remainder of the top-12 was unchanged from a week ago. 

Amherst is an honorable mention selection after not appearing in last week’s rankings. 

New No. 1s

In D2, Traeton Saint of Prairie du Chien is the new No. 1 at 160 pounds. He previously held the second spot. The former top wrestler at that weight, Clayton Whiting (Oconto Falls), moved up to 170 pounds where he is ranked No. 1.
