Leah Earnest, Stevens Point girls basketball: Leah was incredible this past week as she has been all season for the Stevens Point girls basketball team. The Panthers took down both Wausau teams this past week beginning with a 65-51 win over Wausau East. Leah had 20 points and 10 rebounds in the win. In the following 75-56 win over Wausau West, Leah had 38 points and a school record 27 rebounds. To go along with the double-doubles, Leah added seven assists and steals in the two wins.

Jada Spence, Pius XI girls basketball: Jada played exceptionally as Pius XI picked up an impressive 70-55 win over Woodland-West rival and Division 2, third-ranked Pewaukee. Jada put up 26 points and eight rebounds as Pius XI recorded their seventh straight win.

Cullen Quick, Menasha: Cullen was nothing short of dominant as he won the individual title in the heavyweight class at the Ken Heine Blackshirt Invite at Waukesha South. He recorded a pin in each of his three matches, including an eight second one in the semifinals. In all, Cullen spent just over six minutes on the mat as the second ranked heavyweight in Division 1 ran rough shot through his competition.

Matt Waldera, Blair-Taylor boys basketball: Matt helped Blair-Taylor pick up a pair of Dairyland Conference crossover matchups this past week behind a couple of double-doubles. In a 67-53 win over Eleva-Strum, Matt had 20 points and 12 rebounds, shooting eight of ten from the field. He followed that up with 13 points and 11 rebounds in a 60-53 win over Whitehall. Matt added eight assists, five steals, and six blocks in those two victories.

Caden Nelson, Waunakee boys basketball: Waunakee picked up a pair of quality wins this past week and Caden played a huge role in those happenings. To begin the week, the Warriors matched up with undefeated and Division 2, fifth-ranked Reedsburg. Caden led a balanced attack with 11 points as they downed Reedsburg 59-45. Caden followed that up a game high 20 points as they topped Middleton 56-52.
