Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of January 20 through 26. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: Jan. 20-26

Mackenzie Tlachac, Kewaunee girls basketball: Mackenzie surpassed a career milestone as the Kewaunee girl's basketball team picked up a pair of wins this past week. In a 64-42 win over Kiel, Mackenzie scored a game high 22 points. She followed that up with another game high 25 points in a 58-35 win over Sturgeon Bay. Over the week, Mackenzie surpassed 1,000 points in her varsity career.

Bailey Butler, Black Hawk girls basketball: Bailey helped lead the top ranked and undefeated Warriors to their 41st and 42nd straight wins this past week. First in a 75-19 win over Barneveld, Bailey had 14 points and added three assists and steals. She followed that up by coming two steals short of a triple-double in a 59-55 win over Mineral Point. Bailey had 16 points, 10 assists, and eight steals in the tight win over the tough Pointer squad.

Braeden Scoles, Kewaskum wrestling: Braeden did something that's only happened five times in the last four years this past weekend at the Terry Kramer Open in Fort Atkinson. The 145 pound freshman beat top ranked Aidan Medora of Brookfield Academy/SJNMA by a 10-5 decision in the title bout. Braeden handed Aidan only his fifth loss in his high school career. Braeden took home the 145 pound individual title and is currently 28-2 on the year.

Ben Emler, Columbus boys basketball: Ben was sensational as Columbus picked up a pair of Capitol-North wins this past week. First in a 59-50 win over Poynette, Ben scored a game high 26 points. Columbus then squared off with one loss, Division 3 tenth-ranked Lake Mills. Ben scored a game high 15 points as the Cardinals downed Lake Mills 63-47.

Cole Booth, Plymouth boys basketball: Cole was sensational as the Plymouth boys basketball team picked up three wins this past week. In a 68-56 win over Green Bay East, Cole had 19 points. He then was incredible as he had 30 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in an 82-66 win over Winneconne. Lastly in a 76-59 win over West Bend East, Cole had a game high 28 points. He added 12 steals in the three games. Over the course of the week, Cole became Plymouth's all-time leading scorer.
