WIAC Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week
(Week of February 17-23)

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Jack Flynn, Senior (Appleton, Wis./West), Center of UW-Oshkosh

Flynn averaged 17.5 points and 6 rebounds as UW-Oshkosh recorded WIAC wins over UW-Whitewater and UW-River Falls. Flynn accumulated 35 points by shooting 58.3 percent (14-of-24) from the field and 70 percent (7-of-10) from the free-throw line. He also totaled 12 rebounds (five offensive), four blocked shots and three assists. In UW-Oshkosh’s 86-65 home win over UW-Whitewater on Feb. 19, Flynn scored 16 points with eight rebounds (three offensive) and three blocked shots. He made 7-of-10 shots from the field and 2-of-3 free throws during his 20 minutes of playing time. In the Titans’ 74-64 road victory over UW-River Falls on Feb. 22, Flynn tallied 19 points, four rebounds (2 offensive), three assists and one blocked shot during his 32 minutes of activity. He made 7-of-14 shots from the field and 5-of-7 free throws. Flynn, who has scored in double figures in 12 straight games, ranks 10th in UW-Oshkosh history with 1,470 career points and sixth with 760 career rebounds.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Dani Craig, Senior (Coralville, Iowa/Iowa City West), Guard of UW-La Crosse

Craig averaged 19.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in two UW-La Crosse victories during the week. She finished with 22 points and six rebounds in a 71-56 win over UW-River Falls on Feb. 19, becoming the school's career leader in three-point field goals made (157). Craig then had 16 points, seven rebounds and two assists in UW-La Crosse's 80-61 victory at UW-Eau Claire on Feb. 22, clinching the No. 2 seed and first-round bye in the WIAC Championship. She shot 56.0 percent (14-of-25) from the field for the week, including 57.1 percent (8-of-14) from three-point range, and 100.0 percent (two-of-two) at the line.
