Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of March 2 through 8. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: Mar. 2-8

Annika Horman, Xavier Co-op girls hockey: The Xavier Co-op girls were looking to repeat as WIAA girls hockey champs. Annika fueled that surge. In a 4-2 semi-final win over Hudson, Annika assisted on two of the team's goals. She followed that up with two goals of her own as the Fox Cities Stars beat Middleton Co-op 5-3 en route to be crowned WIAA State Champs for the second consecutive year.

Jadin O'Brien, DSHA girls basketball: DSHA scored a pair of impressive wins en route to a sectional title and WIAA State Tournament berth this past weekend. In the sectional semis, Jadin scored 16 points and hauled down 16 rebounds in a 74-63 win over Appeton East. Jadin followed that up with a dominating performance in a 63-44 win over West Bend West. She scored 19 points and added 19 rebounds as DSHA advanced to the Division 1 state tournament.

Addie Gallun, Whitefish Bay gymnastics: For the second consecutive year, Addie took home the all-around crown in Division 2 at the WIAA State Tournament. She won the uneven bars event for the third straight season with a score of 9.383. She also won the vault event with a score of 9.533. Addie came in second in the balance beam and sixth in the floor exercise with scores of 9.317 in both. Her four-event score was 37.55 which earned her the state crown.

Brady Welsch, St. Mary's Springs boys hockey: St. Mary's Spring took home a Division 2, WIAA State Championship behind the strong play of Brady this past weekend. In a 7-2 semi-final win over Rice Lake, he netted a pair of goals. He followed that up with two more goals in a 5-1 win over Northland Pines in the Division 2 State Title game. Springs captured its first ever state championship in boys hockey.

Dalton Banks, Eau Claire North boys basketball: Dalton was incredible on the hardwood as Eau Claire North captured a regional title. First in a 75-56 win over Eau Claire Memorial, Dalton scored 17 points while hauling down 17 rebounds. Dalton then filled the stat sheet as the Huskies took down Hudson 52-44 in the regional final. He scored 30 points to go along with 15 rebounds. The Southern Illinois commit added five assists, four steals, and two blocks.
