DSHA senior Jadin O'Brien has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week after a vote on WSN.

There were 2,435 total votes this week. Jadin topped all vote getters with 945 votes. Eau Claire North's Dalton Banks came in second with 729 votes.

Jadin helped the DSHA girls basketball team score a pair of impressive wins en route to a sectional title and WIAA State Tournament berth last weekend. In the semis, she scored 16 points while hauling down 16 rebounds as the Dashers downed Appleton East 74-63. Jadin then was even more impressive as they took down West Bend West 63-44. She scored 19 points and had 19 rebounds as DSHA advanced to the Division 1 state tournament.
