There were a number of updates to the state's coaching records in girls' basketball following the abrupt end to the 2019-20 season. Below are some coaches highlighted from the list.

Joe Doucette of Colfax and Jeff Kind of Middleton, both WBCA Hall of Fame member, are the only active coaches with 600 career wins.

Doucette guided Colfax to a 21-4 record this season and a Division 4 sectional appearance. He now has a 639-144 career record. Colfax has reached the state tournament three times under the leadership of Doucette, including a Division 4 state runner-up finish in 2013.

Kind guided Middleton to the state tournament for the 12th time in his career. The Cardinals finished the year with a 25-1 record and were set to play Oconomowoc in a Division 1 state semifinal before the remainder of the season was canceled. Kind has compiled a 625-269 career record with four Division 1 state runner-up finishes.

River Ridge's Caron Townsend (WBCA Hall of Fame member) moved into the top 10 after guiding the Timberwolves to a 24-3 record and Division 5 sectional final before falling to Bangor, 62-54. Townsend has compiled a 537-195 record in her 31 years as a head coach, including guiding River Ridge to a Division 5 state runner-up finish in 2011.

Doug Pickarts moved up to 17th all-time after guiding Marshall to a 21-5 record and Division 3 sectional final appearance in his first year at the helm. He coach previously at DeForest and Barneveld. Pickarts, who was recently named to the WBCA Hall fo Fame, has compiled a 473-237 record, which includes two state runner-up finishes (DeForest, 2014; Barneveld, 2016).

Coaches joining the 400-win club this season were Lora Staveness of Edgewood, Bill Scasny of Sussex Hamilton, and Scott Herrick of Pius XI Catholic.

Staveness has compiled a 408-227 record in her time as head coach at Edgewood. The Crusaders finished the 2019-20 season with a 16-9 record, falling to unbeaten Platteville, 47-38, in a Division 3 regional final.

Scasny, who recently retired as the head coach at Sussex Hamilton, posted a 407-201 record in his career as a head coach. That includes stops at Homestead and Divine Savior Holy Angels. Scasny guided the Chargers to a 17-7 record in 2019-20.

Herrick has compiled a 404-93 record as the head coach at Pius XI Catholic, including guiding the Lady Popes to two state titles. This past season, Pius XI Catholic went 22-4 overall and reached a Division 2 sectional final before losing to Pewaukee.

Joining the list is Steve Hluchnik of Oak Creek. He has compiled a 354-188 career record, which includes 12 years as the head coach at West Allis Central. Hluchnik guided Oak Creek to three state tournament appearances, including taking home the Division 1 state title in 2014. This past season, the Knights posted a 17-7 record and reached a regional final.

Records only include varsity wins at Wisconsin high schools as a girls' basketball coach.
