All-conference lists and Player of Year profiles for boys basketball

Following are links to the all-conference lists for the 2019-20 season along with profiles of the Player of the Year for each league:


Will Fuhrmann

Badger North All-Conference 

Reedsburg senior Will Fuhrmann was named Badger North Player of the Year. Fuhrmann, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 17.0 points, 8.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game for coach Josh Rupnow and the Beavers. Reedsburg finished the year with a 17-7 record and reached the Division 2 regional finals, losing to Stoughton. Fuhrmann has committed to NCAA Division III La Crosse.

Badger South All-Conference

Stoughton senior Adam Hobson was named Badger South Player of the Year. Hobson, a 6-foot-4 guard/forward, averaged 18.2 points per game for coach Nolan Weber and the Vikings. Stoughton finished the year with a 21-4 record, won the Badger South championship and reached the Division 2 sectional semifinals, losing to DeForest. Hobson has committed to NCAA Division II Michigan Tech.

Bay All-Conference

Seymour junior Mason Dorn was named Bay Conference Player of the Year. Dorn, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 24.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game for coach Jon Murphy and the Thunder. Seymour finished the year with a 23-2 record, won the Bay championship and reached the Division 2 sectional semifinals, losing to Kaukauna. Dorn scored a season-high 40 points in a victory over Xavier. 

Big East All-Conference North and South

Sheboygan Lutheran senior Jacob Ognacevic was named Big East Conference Player of the Year. Ognacevic, a 6-foot-8 forward, averaged 39.4 points, 16.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game for coach Nick Verhagen and the Crusaders. Sheboygan Lutheran finished the year with a 25-1 record, won the Southern Division title in the Big East and reached the Division 5 sectional finals before COVID-19 cancelled the season. Ognacevic scored a whopping 1,024 points on the season to become just the third player in state history to score at least 1,000 points in a season. He has committed to NCAA Division I Valparaiso.


Isaiah Stewart

Big Eight All-Conference

Madison La Follette senior Isaiah Stewart was named Big Eight Conference Player of the Year. Stewart, a 6-foot-0 guard, averaged 15.0 points per game for coach Curtrel Robinson and the Lancers. La Follette finished the year with a 23-1 record, won the Big Eight Conference title and reached the Division 1 sectional finals before COVID-19 cancelled the season. Stewart scored a career-high 25 points in a victory over Janesville Craig. 

Big Rivers All-Conference

Eau Claire North senior Dalton Banks was named Big Rivers Conference Player of the Year. Banks, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 23.7 points, 11.0 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game for coach Todd Marks and the Huskies. North finished the year with a 17-8 record and reached the Division 1 sectional semifinals, losing to Kimberly. Banks has committed to NCAA Division I Southern Illinois. 


Ben Emler

Capitol North All-Conference

Columbus senior Ben Emler was named Capitol North Conference Player of the Year. Emler, a 6-foot-5 forward, averaged 19.8 points per game for coach Ben Schambow and the Cardinals. Columbus finished the year with a 16-9 record and reached the Division 3 sectional semifinals, losing to Waupun. Emler scored a career-high 35 points in a victory over Platteville. 

Capitol South All-Conference

New Glarus junior Mason Martinson was named Capitol South Conference Player of the Year. Martinson, a 6-foot-4 forward, averaged 15.5 points per game for coach Travis Sysko and the Glarner Knights. New Glarus finished the year with a 15-9 record, won the Capitol South title and reached the Division 4 regional semifinals, losing to Fennimore. Martinson scored a season-high 30 points in a victory over Waterloo. 

Central Wisconsin East All-Conference

Iola-Scandinavia senior Justin Sivertson was named Central Wisconsin East Conference Player of the Year. Sivertson, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 21.0 points and 5.2 assists per game for coach Sam Bertsch and the Thunderbirds. Iola-Scandinavia finished the year with a 24-1 record, won the Central Wisconsin East title and reached the Division 4 sectional finals before COVID-19 cancelled the season. Sivertson scored a career-high 43 points in a victory over Winnebago Lutheran. 

Central Wisconsin North All-Conference 

Juniors Mason Wiesner of Manawa and Evan Graff of Wisconsin Valley Lutheran were named Central Wisconsin North Conference Co-Players of the Year. Wiesner, a 6-foot-3 guard, averaged 22.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game for coach Troy Wiesner and the Wolves. Graff, a 5-fot-11 forward, averaged 13.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists for coach Werner Gross and the Wolves. Manawa finished the year with a 13-9 record and shared the league title with Wisconsin Valley Lutheran, which went 16-6.

Central Wisconsin South All-Conference

Wild Rose senior Caleb Williams and Pittsville senior Matthew Kissner shared Player of the Year laurels in the Central Wisconsin South Conference. Williams, a 6-foot-3 guard, averaged 17.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game for coach Jeff Murphy and the Wildcats. Wild Rose finished the year with an 18-7 record, won the Central Wisconsin South championship and reached the Division 5 regional finals, losing to Rib Lake. Williams has committed to NCAA Division III Macalester College. Kissner, a 6-foot-4 forward, averaged 24.8 points and 10.1 rebounds per game for coach Mark Denniston and the Panthers. Pittsville finished the season with a 19-7 record after falling to Rib Lake in a Division 5 sectional semifinal. Kissner scored a career-high 44 points in a triumph over Colby.


Carter Gilmore

Classic Eight All-Conference

Arrowhead senior Carter Gilmore was named Classic Eight Conference Player of the Year. Gilmore, a 6-foot-7 forward, averaged 26.8 points, 10.8 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game for coach Craig Haase and the Warhawks. Arrowhead finished the year with a 23-2 record, won the Classic Eight title and reached the Division 1 sectional semifinals, losing to Sussex Hamilton. Gilmore has committed to NCAA Division I Wisconsin as a preferred walkon. 

Cloverbelt East All-Conference

Neillsville senior Alex King and Loyal senior Kole Bogdonovich shared Player of the Year honors in the Cloverbelt East Conference. King, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 19.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game for coach Mike Gaier and the Warriors. Neillsville finished the year with a 20-4 record, shared the Clovebelt East title with Spencer and reached the Division 4 regional finals, losing to Stratford. King has committed to NAIA Viterbo University. Bogdonovich, a 6-foot-0 guard, averaged 22.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists for coach Dean Bogdonovich and the Greyhounds. 

Cloverbelt West All-Conference

Altoona junior KeShawn Harris was named Cloverbelt West Conference Player of the Year. Harris, a 6-foot-0 guard, averaged 16.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game for coach Paul Henrichs and the Railroaders. Altoona finished the year with a 17-7 record, won the Cloverbelt West title and reached the Division 3 sectional semifinals, losing to Wisconsin Dells. Harris scored a career-high 31 points in a victory over Stanley-Boyd.

Coulee All-Conference

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau senior Grant Beirne was named Coulee Conference Player of the Year. Beirne, a 6-foot-4 forward, averaged 23.1 points and 8.3 rebounds per game for coach Jared McCutchen and the Red Hawks. G-E-T finished the year with a 13-11 record and advanced to the Division 3 regional semifinals, losing to Mauston. Beirne scored a career-high 35 points in a victory over West Salem.

Dairyland Large and Small All-Conference

The Dairyland Conference does not select a Player of the Year in boys' basketball.


Aaron Borgerding

Dunn-St. Croix All-Conference

Spring Valley senior Aaron Borgerding was named Dunn-St. Croix Conference Player of the Year. Borgerding, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 14.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game for coach Rob Bosshart and the Cardinals. Spring Valley finished the year with an 18-6 record and reached the Division 4 regional finals, losing to Cameron. Borgerding scored a career-high 29 points in a victory over Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran.

East Central All-Conference

Plymouth senior Cole Booth was named East Central Conference Player of the Year. Booth, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 24.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game for coach Tim Schultz and the Panthers. Plymouth finished the year with a 19-4 record, won the East Central championship and reached the Division 2 regional semifinals, losing to Cedarburg. Booth has committed to NCAA Division III Oshkosh.

Eastern Wisconsin All-Conference

Chilton senior Ryan Broeckel was named Eastern Wisconsin Conference Player of the Year. Broeckel, a 6-foot-5 forward, averaged 17.9 points, 11.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game for coach Corey Behnke and the Tigers. Chilton finished the year with an 18-6 record and reached the Division 3 regional finals, losing to Oostburg. Broeckel scored a career-high 34 points in a victory over Kiel.

Flyway All-Conference

Winnebago Lutheran senior Donovan Schwartz was named Flyway Conference Player of the Year. Schwartz, a 5-foot-10 guard, averaged 18.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game for coach Marty Nell and the Vikings. Winnebago Lutheran finished the year with a 20-5 record, won the Flyway Conference title, and reached the Division 4 regional finals, losing to Iola-Scandinavia. Schwartz scored a career-high 33 points in a victory over Manitowoc Lutheran.

Fox River Classic All-Conference

Manitowoc Lincoln junior Mason Dopirak was named Fox River Classic Conference Player of the Year. Dopirak, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 24.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game for coach Thadd Cornell and the Ships. Manitowoc Lincoln finished the year with a 14-9 record and reached the Division 4 regional finals, losing to Homestead. Dopirak scored a career-high 43 points in a victory over Green Bay Preble.


Max Klesmit

Fox Valley Association All-Conference

Neenah senior Max Klesmit was named Fox Valley Association Player of the Year. Klesmit, a 6-foot-3 guard, averaged 25.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game for coach Lee Rabas and the Rockets. Neenah finished the year with a 23-2 record and reached the Division 1 sectional finals before COVID-19 cancelled the season. Klesmit has committed to NCAA Division I Wofford College.

Great Northern All-Conference

Medford junior Peyton Kuhn was named Great Northern Conference Player of the Year. Kuhn, a 6-foot-0 guard, averaged 18.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game for coach Ryan Brown and the Raiders. Medford finished the year with a 19-5 record, won the Great Northern Conference title and reached the Division 2 regional semifinals, losing to New Richmond to end the season. Kuhn scored a career-high 31 points in a loss to D.C. Everest.

Greater Metro All-Conference

Sussex Hamilton junior Patrick Baldwin Jr. was named Greater Metro Conference Player of the Year. Baldwin, a 6-foot-9 forward, averaged 24.3 points, 10.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game for coach Andy Cerroni and the Chargers. Sussex Hamilton finished the year with a 22-3 record and reached the Division 1 sectional finals before COVID-19 cancelled the season. Baldwin scored a career-high 41 points in a victory over Menomonee Falls.

Heart O'North All-Conference

Cumberland junior Jack Martens was named Heart O'North Conference Player of the Year. Martens, a 5-foot-10 guard, averaged 17.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game for coach Corey Berghammer and the Beavers. Cumberland finished the year with a 16-7 record and reached the Division 4 regional finals, losing to Unity. Martens scored a career-high 33 points in a victory over Northwestern.

Indian Trails Blue All-Conference

Saint Anthony senior Jonthan Osorio was named Indian Trails Blue Conference Player of the Year. Osorio, a 5-foot-10 guard, averaged 24.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game for coach Brandon Noble and the Roman Legion. Saint Anthony finished the year with an 8-12 record. Osorio scored a career-high 47 points in a victory over Cristo Rey.

Indian Trails Gold All-Conference

Milwaukee Early View's Courtland Faulkner was named as the Player of the Year in the Gold Division of the Indian Trails Conference.

Indianhead All-Conference

Mellen senior Luke Zakovec was named Indianhead Conference Player of the Year. Zakovec, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 21.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for coach Don Moreland and the Granite Diggers. Mellen finished the year with a 19-6 record, won the Indianhead Conference title and advanced to the Division 5 regional finals, losing to Northwood. Zakovec scored a career-high 47 points in a victory over Winter.

Lake Superior All-Conference

The Lake Superior Conference does not select a Player of the Year in boys' basketball.

Lakeland Central All-Conference

Turtle Lake senior Lucas Torgerson was named Player of the Year in the Lakeland Central Conference. Torgerson, a 6-foot-0 guard, averaged 15.3 points and 4.9 assists per game for coach Jon Bussewitz and the Turtles. Turtle Lake finished the year with a 17-6 record and reached the Division 5 regional semifinals, losing to Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran to end its season.

Lakeland East All-Conference

Birchwood senior Matthew Marcinske was named Player of the Year in the Lakeland East Conference for the third year in a row. Marcinske, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 25.8 points and 4.7 assists per game for coach Blane Senn and the Bobcats. Birchwood finished the year with a 20-5 record, won the league championship, and reached the Division 5 regional finals, losing to Luck to conclude the season. Marcinske finished his prolific prep career with 2,129 points.

Lakeland West All-Conference

Unity senior Jaxon Flaherty was named Player of the Year in the Lakeland West Conference. Flaherty, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 18.0 points and 3.5 assists per game for coach Shaun Fisher and the Eagles. Unity finished the year with a 22-3 record, won the league championship, and reached the Division 4 sectional finals before COVID-19 concluded the season. Flaherty has committed to NCAA Division III North Central College in Minnesota.


Levi Ewan

Marawood North All-Conference

Rib Lake senior Levi Ewan was named Player of the Year in the Marawood North Conference. Ewan, a 5-foot-11 guard, averaged 16.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game for coach Carrie Ewan. Rib Lake finished the year with a 22-4 record, won the league championship, and reached the Division 5 sectional finals the COVID-19 virus cancelled the season. Ewan scored a season-high 32 points in a win over Phillips.

Marawood South All-Conference

Auburndale senior Cooper Weinfurter and Stratford senior Ben Barten shared Player of the Year honors in the Marawood South Conference. Weinfurter, a 6-foot-0 guard, averaged 19.6 points and 4.3 assists per game for coach Chad Weinfurter and the Apaches. Auburndale finished the year with a 20-5 record and reached the Division 4 sectional semifinals, losing to Stratford. Weinfurter scored a career-best 38 points in a triumph over Newman Catholic. Barten, a 6-foot-6 forward, averaged 15.3 points and 9.5 rebounds for coach Curt Schmidt and the Tigers. Stratford finished the year with a 24-0 record and reached the Division 4 sectional finals before the COVID-19 virus cancelled the season. Barten has committed to the University of Wisconsin on a football scholarship.

Marinette & Oconto All-Conference

Crivitz senior Jaden Werner was named Player of the Year in the Marinette & Oconto Conference. Werner, a 5-foot-11 guard, averaged 14.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for coach Jeff Baumann and the Wolverines. Crivitz finished the year with a 19-5 record, shared the league championship with Coleman, and reached the Division 4 regional semifinals, losing to Shiocton. Werner scored a season-high 25 points in a win over Crandon. 


Tyrese Hunter

Metro Classic All-Conference

Racine St. Catherine's junior Tyrese Hunter was named Player of the Year in the Metro Classic Conference. Hunter, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 21.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game for coach Nick Bennett and the Angels. St. Catherine's finished the year with a 25-0 record, won the league championship, and reached the Division 3 sectional finals before COVID-19 ended the season. Hunter scored a career-high 41 points in a win over Dominican.

Middle Border All-Conference

Prescott senior Parker Nielsen and New Richmond senior Joey Kidder shared Player of the Year honors in the Middle Border Conference. Nielsen, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 27.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game for coach Nick Johnson and the Cardinals. Prescott finished the year with a 21-4 record, shared the league title with New Richmond, and reached the Division 3 sectional finals before COVID-19 ended the season. Nielsen has committed to NCAA Division II West Texas A&M. Kidder, a 6-foot-3 guard, averaged 18.5 points, 11.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists for coach Rick Montreal and the Tigers. New Richmond finished the year with a 20-4 record, shared the league title with Prescott and reached the Division 2 regional finals, losing to La Crosse Central.

Midwest Classic All-Conference

Delafield St. John's Military Academy junior Brandin Podziemski and Brookfield Academy senior Aidan Clarey shared Player of the Year honors in the Midwest Classic Conference. Podziemski, a 6-foot-5 guard/forward, averaged 27.6 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game for coach Duane Mlachnik and the Lancers. St. John's Military finished the year with a 19-6 record, won the league title, and reached the Division 3 sectional semifinals, losing to St. Catherine's. Clarey, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 24.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists for coach Pat Clarey and the Knights. Brookfield Academy finished the year with a 16-8 record and reached the Division 4 regional finals, losing to The Prairie School. Clarey has committed to NCAA Division II Rockhurst University.

Milwaukee City All-Conference

Milwaukee King junior Quinton Murrell was named Player of the Year in the Milwaukee City Conference. Murrell, a 6-foot-3 guard/forward, averaged 18.0 points per game for coach Doug Lewis and the Generals. King finished the year with a 22-1 record, won the league championship, and reached the Division 1 regional finals, losing to Brookfield East. Murrell scored a career-high 31 points in a victory over Milwaukee Academy of Science. 

Milwaukee City Blue All-Conference

Milwaukee Golda Meir senior Mason Johnson was named Player of the Year in the Milwaukee City Blue Conference. Johnson, a 6-foot-5 forward, averaged 27.4 points and 18.5 rebounds per game for coach Charles Jordan and the Owls. Golda Meir finished the year with a 15-9 record and reached the Division 3 regional semifinals, losing to Lake Country Lutheran. Johnson scored a career-best 51 points in a victory over Milwaukee Lifelong Learning.


Johnny Davis

Mississippi Valley All-Conference

La Crosse Central senior Johnny Davis was named Player of the Year in the Mississippi Valley Conference. Davis, a 6-foot-5 guard/forward, averaged 27.2 points per game for coach Todd Fergot and the Red Raiders. La Crosse Central finished the year with a 20-5 record and reached the Division 2 sectional finals before the COVID-19 virus ended the season. Davis, who finished his prep career with 2,141 points, committed to NCAA Division I Wisconsin last June.

North Eastern All-Conference

Freedom senior Zack Mashlan was named Offensive Player of the Year in the North Eastern Conference. Marshlan, a 6-foot-3 guard, averaged 18.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game for coach John Miron and the Irish. Freedom finished the year with a 20-4 record and reached the Division 3 regional finals, losing to Xavier. Mashlan scored a career-high 27 points in a triumph over Little Chute. 

North Shore All-Conference

Grafton senior Alex Huibregtse was named Player of the Year in the North Shore Conference. Huibregtse, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 24.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game for coach Damon James and the Black Hawks. Grafton finished the year with a 17-6 record and reached the Division 2 regional semifinals, losing to Slinger. Huibregtse has committed to NCAA Division I Wright State.

Northern Lakes All-Conference

Florence senior Kaden Schuls was named Player of the Year in the Northern Lakes Conference. Schuls, a 6-foot-0 guard, averaged 20.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game for coach Bryan Bomberg and the Bobcats. Florence finished the year with an 18-7 record and reached the Division 5 regional finals, losing to Laona/Wabeno. Schuls scored a season-high 32 points twice, in wins over Goodman/Pembine and Three Lakes.

Packerland All-Conference

Southern Door senior Ryan Claflin was named Player of the Year in the Packerland Conference. Claflin, a 6-foot-6 guard/forward, averaged 22.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for coach Pete Claflin and the Eagles. Southern Door finished the year with a 17-7 record, shared the league title with Kewaunee, and reached the Division 4 regional finals, losing to Kohler. Claflin has committed to NCAA Division I Green Bay.


Carter Lomas

Ridge & Valley All-Conference

Wauzeka-Steuben senior Carter Lomas was named Player of the Year in the Ridge & Valley Conference. Lomas, a 6-foot-4 guard/forward, averaged 22.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game for coach Gary Hines and the Hornets. Wauzeka-Steuben finished the year with a 22-3 record, won the league title, and reached the Division 5 sectional finals before COVID-19 ended the campaign. Lomas has committed to NCAA Division II Winona State.

Rock Valley All-Conference

East Troy senior AJ Vukovich was named Player of the Year in the Rock Valley Conference. Vukovich, a 6-foot-5 forward, averaged 27.9 points and 13.1 rebounds per game for coach Darryl Rayfield and the Trojans. East Troy finished the year with a 21-3 record, won the Rock Valley league championship, and reached the Division 3 regional finals, losing to St. John's Military. Vukovich, who finished his prep career with 2,155 points, has committed to NCAA Division I Louisville for baseball.

Scenic Bluffs All-Conference

Bangor senior Grant Manke was named Player of the Year in the Scenic Bluffs Conference. Manke, a 6-foot-4 forward, averaged 22.7 points and 12.9 rebounds per game for coach Jacob Pederson and the Cardinals. Bangor finished the year with a 24-2 record, won the Scenic Bluffs title, and reached the Division 5 sectional semifinals, losing to Blair-Taylor. Manke, who finished his prep career with more than 1,600 points, has committed to NCAA Division II Winona State for football.

Six Rivers East All-Conference

Monticello junior Peter Gustafson and Monticello senior Reece Rufer shared Player of the Year honors in the Six Rivers East Conference. Gustafson, a 6-foot-3 forward, averaged 20.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game for coach Mark Olson and the Ponies. Monticello finished the year with a 23-2 record, won the league title, and reached the Division 5 sectional semifinals, losing to Randolph. Rufer, a 6-foot-3 forward, averaged 18.4 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists for Monticello. 


Cole Crubel

Six Rivers West All-Conference

River Ridge senior Cole Crubel was named Player of the Year in the Six Rivers West Conference. Crubel, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 21.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for coach Tom Neises and the Timberwolves. River Ridge finished the year with a 20-5 record, won the Six Rivers West title, and reached the Division 4 regional finals, losing to Darlington. Crubel scored a career-high 37 points in a loss to Monticello and finished his prep career with more than 1,700 points.

South Central All-Conference

Mauston senior Cade Hall and Wisconsin Dells senior Bryson Funmaker shared Player of the Year in the South Central Conference. Hall, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 24.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game for coach Gil Saylor and the Golden Eagles. Mauston finished the year with a 16-8 record, and reached the Division 3 regional finals, losing to Altoona. Funmaker, a 5-foot-9 guard, averaged 11.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists for coach Brad Rohling and the Chiefs. Wisconsin Dells finished the year with a 24-1 record, won the South Central crown, and advanced to the Division 3 sectional finals before COVID-19 ended the season. 

Southeast All-Conference

Racine Case junior JaKobe Thompson was named Player of the Year in the Southeast Conference. Thompson, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 19.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for coach Jacob Berce and the Eagles. Racine Case finished the year with a 21-4 record, won the Southeast title, and reached the Division 1 sectional finals before COVID-19 ended the season. Thompson enters his senior season with 1,354 career points. 

Southern Lakes All-Conference

Elkhorn junior Jordan Johnson was named Player of the Year in the Southern Lakes Conference. Johnson, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 24.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game for coach Josh Skatrud and the Elks. Elkhorn finished the year with a 21-4 record, shared the Southern Lakes title with Westosha Central, and reached the Division 2 sectional finals before COVID-19 ended the season. Johnson scored a career-high 44 points in a win over Racine Park.  

Southwest Wisconsin Activities League All-Conference

Darlington junior Carter Lancaster was named Player of the Year in the Southwest Wisconsin Activities League. Lancaster, a 6-foot-4 guard/forward, averaged 20.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game for coach Tom Uppena and the Redbirds. Darlington finished the year with a 22-3 record, and reached the Division 4 sectional semifinals, losing to Cuba City. Lancaster scored a career-high 31 points in a loss to Cuba City.


Mason Kramer

Southwest Wisconsin All-Conference

Prairie du Chien senior Mason Kramer was named Player of the Year in the Southwest Wisconsin Conference. Kramer, a 5-foot-10 guard, averaged 22.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game for coach Andy Banasik and the Blackhawks. Prairie du Chien finished the year with a 15-9 record, and reached the Division 3 regional semifinals, losing to River Valley. Kramer scored a career-high 39 points in a victory over Dodgeville.

Trailways East All-Conference

Lourdes Academy junior Preston Ruedinger was named Player of the Year in the Trailways East Conference. Ruedinger, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 27.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game for coach Dennis Ruedinger and the Knights. Lourdes Academy finished the year with a 21-3 record, won the conference championship, and reached the Division 4 sectional semifinals, losing to Iola-Scandinavia. Ruedinger scored a career-high 46 points in a victory over Hustisford.

Trailways South All-Conference

Deerfield senior Tyler Haak was named Player of the Year in the Trailways South Conference. Haak, a 6-foot-3 guard, averaged 18.2 points and 6.9 rebounds per game for coach Dave Borgrud and the Demons. Deerfield finished the year with a 15-10 record and reached the Division 4 regional finals, losing to Palmyra-Eagle. Haak scored a season-high 30 points in a victory over Wayland Academy.

Trailways West All-Conference

Pardeeville sophomore Derek Lindert was named Player of the Year in the Trailways West Conference. Lindert, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 25.8 points, 8.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game for coach Chris Lindert and the Bulldogs. Pardeeville finished the year with a 14-10 record and reached the Division 4 regional finals, losing to Markesan. Lindert scored a season-high 37 points in two different games, a win over Green Lake/Princeton and a loss to Markesan.


Michael Casper

Wisconsin Valley All-Conference

Merrill senior Michael Casper was named Player of the Year in the Wisconsin Valley Conference. Casper, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 23.2 points per game for coach Jake Schalow and the Bluejays. Merrill finished the year with a 17-7 record and reached the Division 2 regional finals, losing to Mosinee. Casper, who scored a career-high 45 points in a win over Northland Pines, has committed to NCAA Division II Bemidji State.

Woodland East All-Conference

Milwaukee Lutheran senior Jourdan Weddle was named Player of the Year in the Woodland East Conference. Weddle, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 19.1 points per game for coach Marcus Jackson and the Red Knights. Milwaukee Lutheran finished the year with a 19-5 record, won the Woodland East title, and reached the Division 2 sectional semifinals, losing to Wauwatosa West. Weddle scored a career-high 40 points in a victory over Shorewood.

Woodland West All-Conference

Wisconsin Lutheran senior Tyrese England was named Player of the Year in the Woodland West Conference. England, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 17.9 points per game for coach Ryan Walz and the Vikings. Wisconsin Lutheran finished the year with a 16-8 record, shared the Woodland West title with Pewaukee and New Berlin Eisenhower, and reached the Division 2 regional finals, losing to Wauwatosa West. England has committed to NJCAA Division I Trinidad College.
