Favorite Sport (and why): "My favorite sport is track and field. I’ve played many different sports throughout my life and running is the most physically and mentally challenging I’ve done. In track and field, I love the different variety of events there is to compete in and the physical challenge each event creates."

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): "The best part of high school sports is the support the community shows for our school. Playing in a packed gym full of fans and a big student section is such a fun atmosphere to be a part of."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “Refuse to lose” -From Coach Chris Morgan

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "My most memorable moment was beating #2 seed Waupun in the basketball Regional final senior year. They’ve always been our biggest non-conference rival and the win was a redemption from when we lost to them earlier in the season."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "Playing three sports creates a year-round routine and each sport is challenging in its own way. Playing basketball during the winter allows me to relax from running for a while and I enjoy being around my teammates each season."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "The toughest part of playing three sports is finding a way to not get burnt out. Training and competing year-round can be tiring and it is important to take time to recover in the off-season."

Favorite Opponent (and why): "My favorite conference opponent is WLA (Winnebago Lutheran Academy). They have become one of our biggest rivals for boys and girls basketball in the last few years. This year, we played them for the conference championship at WLA. Our fans and students filled the bleachers in their gym, which created such a fun atmosphere to play in."

Favorite Professional Team: Milwaukee Bucks

Favorite Professional Athlete: Emma Coburn

Favorite College Team: Wisconsin

Cumulative GPA: 3.922

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): "The toughest individual I have competed against in cross country and track is Sarah Niehueser from WLA. Freshman and sophomore years, I was able to compete against her at conference and state. She is a great competitor and racing her allowed me to push myself to run faster."

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "The high school teammate I admire most is Allison Grahl. I’ve competed with her in all of my sports throughout high school. She is hard-working and always pushes herself to be better. I greatly admire her determination to recover and get back to compete in college after tearing her ACL in basketball this season."

College Plans: "Compete in cross country and track and field at Pittsburg State University."

Activities Outside of Sports: "Outside of sports I am involved in National Honor Society, Math Team, Student Mentoring, and helping at youth sports camps."
