DSHA and Watertown needed double-overtime to decide their Division 1 regional final. 

Watertown led the majority of the contest, but DSHA made some big shots to avoid the upset and advance to sectional play. 

DSHA trailed by seven points at the break, 21-14. The Dahsers outscored the Goslings 28-21 in the second half, capped by senior Bella Huschitt's game-tying basket to force overtime. 

Huschitt also made the game-tying basket for force a second overtime. 

In the second overtime, Watertown led 56-54 with eight seconds left. DSHA would need to go the length of the floor.

Jackie Jarosz brought the ball up for the Dashers and made a cross-court pass to Emily Capper, who found Alyah Garcia in the left corner for the game-winning three just before time expired. 

Huschitt finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists to lead DSHA. 

Fellow senior Jadin O'Brien contributed 14 points, five rebounds and three steals for coach Brian Hendricks and the Dashers. 

Garcia tallied 11 points and added three steals in the victory. 

Watertown was led by junior Teya Maas, a 6-foot-1 forward, who finished with a game-high 17 points and 14 rebounds to go along with four assists and two steals. 

Junior Aubrey Schmutzler and sophomore Riley Quinn added 12 and 10 points, respectively, for coach Matt Stollberg and the Goslings. 

Watertown ended the season with a 17-7 record. 

DSHA would go on to defeat Appleton East and West Bend West in sectional play to advance to the WIAA State Tournament for the fifth time in program history, and first time since Arike Ogunbowale led them to the state title in 2015. 

The Dashers were set to play defending Division 1 state champion Bay Port in a state semifinal before the tournament was canceled.
