The following profiles of high school basketball programs across Wisconsin include teams that either have overall winning streaks of at least 16 games or conference winning streaks of at least 45 games. 

Aquinas (59 straight in the Mississippi Valley) 
The Blugolds streak of conference wins dates back to the 2015-16 season when they lost to Holmen, 51-49, on December 11, 2015. Since then they have won 59 consecutive league games and won a pair of WIAA Division 4 state titles. The Blugolds finished the 2019-20 season with a 25-1 record and were looking to win their third consecutive state title, but didn't get a chance after the cancelation of the state tournament. Aquinas has not only dominated Mississippi Valley Conference play, but Wisconsin competition overall. The Blugolds have won 75 consecutive games against in-state teams heading into the 2020-21 season. A big reason for the success was the play of Iowa State signee Lexi Donarki, the 2020 Miss Basketball award-winner, who led the Blugolds to a 107-3 record in her four years. Two of those losses were against Hopkins, Minn., which featured UConn signee Paige Bueckers, the top-ranked player in the nation. Aquinas last in-state loss was against Howards Grove, 44-43, in the 2017 WIAA Division 4 state championship game. Coach Dave Donarski and the Blugolds will need to fill the void left with the graduation of four key players from their 2019-20 squad, but do welcome back to-be-junior Jacy Weisbrod (5-10) and to-be-sophomore Macy Donarski (5-7) to build around. 

Bangor (24 consecutive wins, 18 straight wins Scenic Bluffs) 
The Cardinals will enter the 2020-21 season with a 24-game winning streak. Their lone loss in 2019-20 was against Melrose-Mindoro, 74-52, on December 2. Bangor's last Scenic Bluffs loss was against Cashton, 42-29, on February 2, 2019. The Cardinals finished the 2019-20 season with a 25-1 record, reaching the state tournament for the third time in the past four years. Coach Merlin Jones and the Cardinals welcome back the majority of its lineup, highlighted by seniors Haley Jones (5-9) and Megan Miedema (5-4), junior Taylor Jacobson (5-3) and sophomore Nora Tucker (5-7). 

Beaver Dam (86 straight league wins - Badger North / Little Ten) 
The Golden Beavers haven't lost a league game since 2013-14 when they competed in the Little Ten Conference. Beaver Dam has gone 42-0 in the Badger North since joining the league in 2017-18. The Golden Beavers' last league loss was against Wisconsin Lutheran, 51-43, on February 21, 2014 when they were a member of the Little Ten. Beaver Dam is coming off its fourth consecutive state tournament appearance, but COVID-19 wiped out the state tournament after the first day and the Golden Beavers weren't able to try to make it four straight Division 2 state titles. Coach Tim Chase and the Golden Beavers welcome back a talented group, led by to-be-seniors Maty Wilke (5-10), Natalie Jens (5-7), Paige Hodgson (6-3) and Avery Stonewall (5-10). 

Black Hawk (54 consecutive wins, 46 straight in Six Rivers East) 
The Warriors haven't lost a game since falling to Bangor, 39-29, in the 2018 WIAA Division 5 state championship game. Black Hawk finished the 2019-20 season with a 26-0 record and will open the 2020-21 campaign with a 54-game winning streak. They have reached the state tournament the past three seasons and six times overall. The Warriors have also rattled off 46 consecutive Six Rivers East contests, their last loss was against Barneveld, 70-29, on February 12, 2016. Coach Mike Flanagan and the Warriors welcomes back UW-Green Bay commit Bailey Butler (5-7, sr.), along with Kaylee Marty (5-5, sr.), Tara Wellnitz (5-10, soph.) and Makayla Mau (6-2, sr.). 

Brookfield Academy (45 consecutive Midwest Classic wins) 
The Blue Knights will enter the 2020-21 season with a 45-game winning streak in Midwest Classic play. Their last loss was against Heritage Christian, 52-51, on December 20, 2016. Top returners for coach Amanda Schnell and Brookfield Academy include to-be-seniors Ellie Jensen (5-5) and Morgan Allen (6-2). 

Platteville (26 consecutive wins) 
The Hillmen went unbeaten in the 2019-20 season. They were 26-0 and scheduled to play Wrightstown in the WIAA Division 3 state championship game before the tournament was canceled due to COVID-19. Their last loss was against Marshall, 78-61, in a Division 3 sectional final on March 2, 2019. Coach Mike Foley and the Hillmen will have a much different roster in 2020-21 with the graduation of its top three scorers. Sophomore Camryn Nies (5-8) is their top returner. Additional returners include Maddie Cooley (6-0, sr.) and Madison Devlin (5-10). 

Clear Lake (26 consecutive wins) 
The Warriors followed up a perfect volleyball season (38-0) with an undefeated record in basketball. Clear Lake reached the state tournament for the second time in program history and finished the year with a 26-0 record. The Warriors' last loss was against Clayton, 65-45, in a Division 5 regional final on February 23, 2019. Coach Ryan Blanchard and the Warriors will need to replace three of their top four scorers. Their top returner is to-be-junior Maddie Rosen (6-0). 

Hortonville (25 consecutive wins, 18 straight FVA wins) 
The Polar Bears opened the 2019-20 season with a loss to defending Division 1 state champion Bay Port, 51-46, before winning their next 25 games. Hortonville has reached the state tournament in each of the past four seasons. The Polar Bears' last FVA loss was against Oshkosh North, 64-60, on February 16, 2019. Coach Celeste Ratka and the Polar Bears will need to fill the void left with the graduation of two of their top three scorers, but return a talented roster. Top returners are Lexi Day (5-8, sr.), Kamy Peppler (5-6, jr., UW-Milwaukee commit), Lyric Johnson (5-9, jr.) and Emma Lebeck (5-11, jr.). 

Middleton (20 consecutive wins) 
The Cardinals won their final 20 games of the 2019-20 season, reaching the state tournament for the 12th time in program history. Their lone loss of the year was against Madison Memorial, 67-51, on December 13. They will open the 2020-21 season with a 14-game Big Eight winning streak, to go along with their 20 consecutive wins overall. WBCA Hall of Fame coach Jeff Kind and the Cardinals will have a revamped roster in 2020-21 after the graduation of five of their top six scorers. Top returner is to-be-junior McKenna Monogue (6-1). 

Melrose-Mindoro (15 consecutive wins, 64 straight Dairyland wins) 
The Mustangs were set to play Aquinas in the Division 4 state championship game for the third consecutive year before COVID-19 forced the cancelation of the remainder of the state tournament. Melrose-Mindoro won its final 15 games of the 2019-20 season after falling to Black Hawk, 78-62, on January 18 at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells.  The Mustangs have won 64 consecutive Dairyland contests dating back to the 2015-16 season. Their last league loss was against Cochrane-Fountain City, 82-75, on February 4, 2016. Coach Joey Arneson and the Mustangs will have to fill the void left with the graduation of four of their top five scorers. Their top returner is to-be-senior Teagan Frey (5-8). 

St. Croix Falls (50 straight Lakeland West wins) 
The Saints have dominated Lakeland West play over the past four years. Their last loss in conference play was on February 5, 2016 against Unity, 54-43. St. Croix Falls ended the 2019-20 season with a 24-2 record, finishing one win away from reaching the Division 3 state tournament. St. Croix Falls joins the Heart O'North Conference starting in the 2020-21 season, which will put them in a league with mostly Division 3 teams compared to competing against smaller schools in the Lakeland West. Coach Angie Maternowsky and the Saints welcome back the majority of their roster, led by to-be-seniors Olivia Miron (5-11) and Emily McCurdy (5-9). 

Oak Creek (112 straight wins in Southeast Conference) 
The Knights have not lost a conference game since the 2011-12 season. Muskego, now a member of the Classic Eight, is the last team to beat Oak Creek in league play. The Warriors defeated Oak Creek, 39-35, on February 29, 2012. Since that loss, the Knights have dominated the league with 112 consecutive wins. Coach Steve Hluchnik and the Knights have a strong group of returners, led by to-be-seniors Sara Kasar (5-6) and Jenna Widensk (5-10) that will look to keep their long conference winning streak alive.
