How has not being able to play this spring impacted you? "It has been tough in many ways. This was the last opportunity for all of the seniors to play together and get closure on high school sports. Not being able to spend the best three months with my teammates is heartbreaking. Having great players and people around me is something I thrive off of and it is difficult not being able to see them or play with them anymore. It is especially hard being a senior, knowing you are done representing your high school and playing with your hometown friends. I also think that being coached by the best coach in girls soccer, Brooke Mraz, is something very special and is hard not being able to learn from her this spring. I would do anything to play with these girls and have ‘Bay Port’ across my chest for one final time."

What do you miss about not being able to play this spring? "I am going to miss all of the memorable moments that are created within the season. Being able to go to practice each day and compete with my best friends by my side is something to cherish forever, and I will most certainly miss it."

What have you done to stay active? "I have gotten some useful workouts from girls on the soccer team at Drake which has been very helpful. I also go running due to the stamina needed for soccer."

Most Memorable Moment from spring sports? "Specifically, I would say the most memorable moment was in 2018 when we won the state championship for the first time in program history. Being able to bring the gold ball home to Green Bay was such a surreal feeling. But overall, the most memorable moment I have from high school soccer is just being about to experience high school soccer with such great people. The 2020 class for girls soccer is something I will cherish forever. Being able to play my 4 years of soccer with the 3 other outstanding seniors is something that can never be taken from me, as we have made the best of memories."

Other Sports Played: Basketball (helped Bay Port capture the 2019 WIAA Division 1 state title)

Favorite Professional Athlete: Sophia Smith

Favorite Professional Team: USWNT (United States Women’s National Team)

Favorite College Team: Drake Bulldogs

Favorite Sports Movie: Remember the Titans

Favorite Opponent: "I do not have a specific opponent I like playing against. I would have to say I mostly like playing against any team within the conference. With soccer, we only get to play each team once and so we know that we have to give each team our best game if we want to win conference. Playing any team in conference is a battle and I love competing."

Favorite Website: "I do not have a specific one."

College Plans: "I will attend Drake University to study Occupational Therapy. While doing so, I will also be playing Division 1 soccer for Drake."
