How has not being able to play this spring impacted you? "Not being able to play this spring has been really difficult for me. It is heartbreaking to see the amount of hard work and dedication our team put in for this season not able to be shown. During this time I am normally super busy with practices, games, and school. Being stuck at home, not able to play, is challenging, but I have had a lot of time to work on skills on my own."

What do you miss about not being able to play this spring? "The thing I miss the most is not being able to spend time with my teammates. Throughout the season you form such close bonds with one another. All the memories you make during practices, games, bus rides, and SPASH Softball traditions will be greatly missed this season."

What have you done to stay active? "My gym has held virtual workouts throughout the spring, so I have been doing those every day as well as going to the field with my dad to hit and play long toss. I also have been able to catch for some pitchers and go on bike rides with my brother."

Most Memorable Moment from spring sports? "I would say my most memorable sports moment was my freshman year at the State Tournament. It was our first game, against Sun Prairie. We had runners on second and third and I hit a 2 RBI double to get us on the board. This was a super cool moment for me as I helped our team make it to the semi-final game that year."
