How has not being able to play this spring impacted you? "Not being able to play my senior of high school has been devastating. It has challenged me to find new ways to stay active, stay in shape, and continue to improve my soccer skills. Also, reflecting back, I have realized I was blessed to have three amazing years of soccer with the support of great coaches, teammates and parents. I hope when I look back at this time instead of heartbreak, I think about what I have learned including resilience, strength of character and the importance of community and family support."

What do you miss about not being able to play this spring? "CMH soccer has been more than just a team or the game to me, it has been a family. I have truly missed the camaraderie and closeness of my teammates. My heart breaks that I will never play with this amazing group of girls again or in my CMH uniform."

What have you done to stay active? "I have had to get creative with my workouts during this time to prepare for playing soccer in college. I’ve turned my basement into a weight room, measured out sprints in my yard, pulled out my old soccer nets, and now know the exact miles it takes to run around my subdivision and know the color of every house."

Most Memorable Moment from spring sports? "My most memorable moment from spring sports was winning the State Championship my junior year. During that season, my team set goals, supported one another, and worked extremely hard. We wanted it for each other. The biggest thrill of that moment wasn’t about receiving recognition, but knowing we accomplished something amazing together."

Other Sports Played: "I played basketball at CMH my freshman and sophomore year."

Favorite Professional Athlete: "My favorite professional athlete is LeBron James because he works hard and always gives back to his community."

Favorite Professional Team: "My favorite professional team is the USA Women’s National Soccer Team. One of my favorite memories was going to watch them play in person and was impressed by their skills and how gracious they were to the crowd."

Favorite College Team: "My favorite college team is The Ohio State Buckeyes."

Favorite Sports Movie: "My favorite sports movie is Miracle."

Favorite Opponent: "My favorite opponent while playing high school soccer was Grafton High School. We always played them in the Sectional Finals. They were strong competitors, the energy was high, and always proved to be a close, exciting game."

Favorite Website: "My favorite social media website is Instagram."

College Plans: "I will be attending The Ohio State University to study Marketing and Communications. I am excited to play soccer at the next level on the women’s soccer team."
