How has not being able to play this spring impacted you? "Not being able to play in the spring impacted me tremendously. I was looking forward to one last season playing with my teammates and hopefully getting redemption from the year before. Finding out that the season was cancelled was really disappointing and hard to grasp. Playing soccer was a big part of my high school experience and not having it this year was really hard for me."

What do you miss about not being able to play this spring? "One of the things that I’ll miss the most about not being able to play this spring are the moments spent with my team. I really enjoyed being around all of my teammates and coaches and I missed that this year."

What have you done to stay active? "I have gone on lots of runs and bikes rides. I also have spent a lot of my time playing soccer and working on my touches whenever I get the chance."

Most Memorable Moment from spring sports? "One of my most memorable moments from spring sports was qualifying for the sectional final game my junior year. This was memorable for me because it was the farthest we had ever advanced and it felt good knowing that we were improving from previous years. Also, it gave us the opportunity to accomplish something together as a team that we hadn’t ever done before."

Other Sports Played: "I did not play any other sports besides soccer in high school.  However, in middle school I played volleyball and ran track and cross country."

Favorite Professional Athlete:  "My favorite professional athlete is Tobin Heath because she is very hard working and so fun to watch. Whenever she gets the ball during a game, she makes something happen and helps her team out in some way."

Favorite Professional Team: "My favorite professional team is the U.S. Women’s National Team. I like watching them succeed and set a good example for all of the girl soccer players under them. I also like watching them because it helps me learn and improve."

Favorite College Team: "My favorite college team is the North Carolina Tar Heels. I like watching their men’s basketball and women's soccer games the most."

Favorite Sports Movie: "My favorite sports movie is, “42” because it shows a different perspective on sports and how they’re different now compared to back then. I also like this movie because I like watching baseball."

Favorite Opponent: "Within the FVA, my favorite opponent was Abby Kloiber because she challenged me and made me work for every single ball that was passed to me.  Outside of the FVA, my favorite opponent was Madison Simpson because she was fun to watch and made us work as a team to keep her from scoring goals."

Favorite Website:  "Either Hudl or Wissports. I liked Hudl because I was able to watch film and catch things that I maybe missed throughout the game.  I was also able to learn and improve. I liked Wissports because I could see where I stood in relation to other players throughout the state. I’m extremely competitive, so I liked competing and being compared to the top goal scorers, assist and point leaders, etc."

College Plans: "I will be attending Marquette University to study Business/Communications and play soccer."
