Last Friday, the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) announced summer coach contact return-to-play guidance as schools can begin resuming traditional summer activities on July 1st.

Today, the WIAA released sport-specific guidelines and guidance to address situations, examples, and drills that apply to the various sports offered by the Association.

These guidelines use the original June 18th guidance as a framework and basis, and provide additional recommendations to help coaches with planning contact days in July. The sport-specific guidelines were developed by the WIAA executive staff that oversee the particular sports and reviewed by the WIAA Sport Medical Advisory Committee.
