Below are the SportsEngine.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of September 14 through 20. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

SportsEngine.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: Sep. 14-20

Emma Johnson, Luxemburg-Casco girls volleyball: Luxemburg-Casco started out the 2020 fall season with a bang, recording two sweeps in North Eastern Conference play. Emma fueled those two victories, first in a 3-0 win over Wrightstown. She recorded 24 assists, four digs, and two aces in the season opener and followed it up with 32 assists, eight digs, and two more aces in the 3-0 sweep of Denmark.

Carizma Muth, Randolph girls volleyball: Carizma helped lead Randolph to a 6-0 start in the first week of the season, including going a perfect 4-0 at the Ozaukee Tournament over the weekend. In that Ozaukee tournament, she had 28 kills and nine aces. Earlier in the week Carizma had 12 kills and two aces in a 3-0 sweep of Living Word Lutheran in the team's season opener. She then had another 12 kills and two aces in a 3-0 win over Sheboygan Lutheran.

Kora Malecek, Onalaska girls cross country: Kora picked right up from where she left off last season dominating the Viking Invitational at Maple Groves Venue this past Saturday. The defending Division 1 state champ led Onalaska to a team win and also took home an individual victory, finishing the race in 17 minutes and 28.5 seconds. She finished ahead of sisters Lydia and Amalia, who finished second and third.

Sean Archibald, Osceola boys soccer: Sean was absolutely incredible as Osceola started out 2-0 on this 2020 boys soccer season. He accounted for every single goal through the first two games. First in a 4-3 win over Amery, Sean scored all four goals, leading the team to victory. He followed that up by scoring three more goals and adding two assists in a 5-1 win over Baldwin-Woodville.

Will Navarre, Nicolet boys soccer: Nicolet scored two North Shore Conference shutouts this past week behind the leg of Will. In a 7-0 win over Port Washington, Will had two goals and added another three assists. He followed that up with four goals and one assist, accounting for every score, in the 5-0 win over Slinger.
