It is finally here, as this weekend marks the official beginning of the 2020 high school football season. This is the day all of the 6 a.m. lifting sessions, conditioning drills in 90-degree heat, weekends spent at 7-on-7, and general hard work will pay off.

There is no better place to follow the high school football season than WisSports.net. We have you covered in every way, shape, and form, giving you the most complete statewide information. Schedules, rosters, scores, and stats are available on the Team pages, while weekly results can be found on our Scores page. On the Conference pages you can find standings, team stats, and individual stats.

We have the state's only Coaches Poll on the Rankings page (first poll to be released after Week 1), plus statewide Stats Leaders that can only be found on WSN.

We've released Conference Previews for every league in the state, which can be found on the front page, as well as Player Rankings for the senior class. Pre-Season Watch Lists for the WSN Senior Football Awards can also be found on the News page.

After all the weekend action wraps up, check out WisSports.net on Monday where you can vote on the Team of the Week and Player of the Week. Be sure to check out the nominees each week and vote for who you feel is most deserving...and spread the word to help out your favorite candidate.

You can also follow along every night via Twitter, where we will be posting updates to the #wisfb hashtag. Feel free to tweet updates from games you are attending using that hashtag as well.

Your must follow on Twitter is our scores account @footballWSN, where every final score in the state is automatically tweeted out once entered into our database. Don't forget to follow Travis Wilson at @travisWSN.

After the game is over, be sure to stay tuned in for Football Friday Night, presented by WisSports.net. We're excited to announce that this year's Football Friday Night show will be broadcast statewide by the Wisconsin Radio Network.

Here at WSN we're passionate about high school sports, especially high school football, and hope you enjoy our site and all the great new content. As always, we'll continue to provide the best high school sports coverage in Wisconsin and continue to look for opportunities to expand our coverage.

To get you even more pumped for games tonight, here's a little highlight of some of the outstanding games we've been at in the past to get you ready!
