Jack Genzmer of Ozaukee has been selected as the Week 3 Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day helped the Warriors rally for a victory over Oostburg. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 3. A total of 7,335 votes were cast, as Genzmer's 2,954 were enough to edge second place Joey Ehlke of Kettle Moraine Lutheran, who tallied 2,252 votes.

Ozaukee trailed Oostburg 14-0 after the first quarter, but the Warriors stayed the course and didn't panic. In fact, they continued to run the ball, run it again, and run it some more. Junior running back Jack Genzmer did most of that, carrying the ball 34 times for a state-high 276 yards and three touchdowns as Ozaukee rallied for a 20-14 victory. He also added three sacks on defense in the victory.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named WisSports.net Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 4 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
