The Highland Cardinals have been selected as the Week 4 WSN Team of the Week following a statewide vote on WSN. The team rallied to take down Potosi/Cassville in a battle of top-ranked squads. The Cardinals were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 4. A total of 10,671 votes were cast, as Highland's 4,581 votes edged Baraboo's 4,517 votes.

Highland's defense had been outstanding this year, but it was the offense that spear-headed a 32-27 comeback win over Potosi/Cassville in a matchup of unbeaten top ten teams in Division 7. Quarterback Justin Miller helped orchestrate things, completing 16-of-30 passes for 244 yards and three touchdowns, including what turned out to be the game-winning 10-yard score to Isaac Michek. While the defense did allow 365 rushing yards to Potosi/Cassville, they also recorded two key interceptions.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite team can be named WSN Team of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 5 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
