Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year.

Division 1

It continues to be Muskego and Franklin at the top of the Division 1 Coaches Poll, though Marquette is up to third and Hudson goes from eighth to fourth. Arrowhead's second loss on the season, this time to Waukesha West, dropped the Warhawks from third to fifth. D.C. Everest's first loss, a shutout to Kaukauna, causes the Evergreens to dip from fifth to seventh. Oconomowoc moves in to the number ten spot this week.

Division 2

Menomonee Falls continues on a clear-cut number one team in Division 2. Burlington is second, but a third loss on the season for Brookfield Central caused the Lancers to go from third to unranked this week. Kaukauna moves up one spot from fourth to third, while Cedarburg and Wauwatosa West round out the top five. Waukesha West re-enters the rankings at number six after knocking off Arrowhead, while Menomonie returns at number seven. Germantown is back in at number ten as well.

Division 3

Whitefish Bay had to skip last week's game, but the Blue Dukes remain the top-ranked team in Division 3. Medford is second, followed by Great Northern Conference foe Rhinelander, who slips just ahead of Grafton. Wilmot and Luxemburg-Casco drop out this week, to be replaced by New Richmond, hot off a win over Chippewa Falls, and Mosinee at the bottom of the rankings.

Division 4

It was a rough week in Division 4, where three of the top five teams suffered defeats. The division continues to be led by Catholic Memorial. Teams losing and falling in the rankings this week are: Xavier (second to fifth), Freedom (third to sixth), and Lake Mills (fifth to unranked). Wrightstown moves up to second, followed by Ellsworth, and Martin Luther. In addition to Lake Mills, Two Rivers drops out as the Raiders have not played the last two weeks. Moving in this week are unbeaten Sheboygan Falls plus 4-1 Saint Croix Central.

Division 5

Not a lot of changes in Division 5, where Lake Country Lutheran is again the top team. Amherst, Cumberland, Lakeside Lutheran, and Brillion round out the top five. Stratford had been fifth, but a second loss this year, a close one against unbeaten Division 3 school Rhinelander, drops the Tigers to eighth. The team just announced that they will be canceling the last two games of the regular season. Cedar Grove-Belgium is new this week, replacing Stanley-Boyd.

Division 6

No changes in the top five of Division 6, as Regis is a strong number one team, though Mineral Point's hold on the second position is rather tenuous after the Pointers had to sit out the last two weeks. They are scheduled to resume this week against River Valley. Lancaster's loss to Darlington drops the Flying Arrows out of the rankings, allowing Racine Lutheran to enter at number nine.

Division 7

While Edgar continues to be a dominating number one selection in Division 7, but Lourdes Academy showed they cannot be dismissed. The second-ranked Knights held off fourth-ranked Randolph in a close one on Saturday, as Randolph dropped two spots to sixth. The Rockets were the only ranked team in Division 7 to suffer a loss last week, though Hurley slid one spot to number ten, as the Northstars made the three-hour trek to Grantsburg only to find out no officials would be on hand, as the game for control of the Lakeland Conference was re-scheduled for this week.

8-Player

The big question this week came in 8-Player Football, where Luck's shocking loss to previously winless Prairie Farm, without star Wyatt Jensen, left the division up for grabs. How far would the Cardinals fall? We have our answer, as Luck drops from first to fourth this week, as Newman Catholic, last year's runner-up to Luck, takes over the top spot. Belmont moves up to second, followed by Gilman. Losses by Mellen and Florence last week drop the teams out of the top ten, as Wabeno/Laona and Northwood/Solon Springs move in to the rankings.
