WisSports.net Week 6 Player of the Week Nominees

Michael Dul, Mosinee

Mosinee's Michal Dul posted a near-perfect passer rating of 152.9 as the Indians had no trouble with rival Merrill in a 47-0 victory. Dul finished 22-for-31 passing with 403 yards and five touchdowns, including three of at least 38 yards. Dul also ran for a short touchdown in the first quarter, as all six of his touchdowns responsible-for came in the first three quarters. the win moves the Indians to 4-2 on the year.

Riley Ewer, Flambeau

Entering Week 6, Flambeau had not won a game on the field since August of 2018. The Falcons last conference win was back in 2017, as they had lost 20 straight league contests. That all changed on Friday, as Flambeau routed Ladysmith 44-18. Junior Riley Ewer put up one of the best performances of the season, carrying the ball 43 times for 368 yards and four touchdowns in the victory. He also had a two-point conversion and picked off a pass on defense.

Greyton Gannon, Mukwonago

After losing a Week 6 game, Mukwonago took on the challenge of traveling three hours and almost 200 miles for a game at a solid D.C. Everest team. The Indians led 14-7 at halftime before adding a pair of fourth quarter scores to claim a 28-7 victory. Junior quarterback Greyton Gannon had the best game of his career, completing eight-of-14 passes for 155 yards and three touchdowns, adding 108 rushing yards on 10 carries. He also punted once for 41 yards.

Dawson Rondorf, West Bend East

West Bend East evened up its record at 3-3 on the year in a 26-14 win over defending North Shore Conference champion Hartford on Friday. The game was tied at 14 heading into the fourth quarter, but West Bend East quarterback Dawson Rondorf engineered a pair of scoring drives, capping off each with a short rushing touchdown. It certainly wasn't the only contribution he made in the game, as he completed 14-of-26 passes for 221 yards and a score, adding 36 yards and those two scores on the ground. Rondorf also starts on defense, where he intercepted two passes and forced and recovered a fumble.

Michael Volz, New Holstein

In the 73rd meeting between New Holstein and Kiel, the Huskies of New Holstein tied the all-time series at 36-36-1 with a 42-17 win on Friday. New Holstein racked up 509 yards of offense in the victory, with the bulk of that coming from senior running back Michael Volz. He ran for three, first-half touchdowns as the Huskies built a 28-3 halftime advantage. He'd finish with 233 rushing yards and four scores on 20 carries in the game.
