The Union Grove Broncos have been selected as the Week 6 WSN Team of the Week following a statewide vote on WSN. The team took down Burlington in a battle of Southern Lakes Conference unbeatens. The Broncos were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 6. A total of 5,046 votes were cast, as Union Grove's 1,969 votes edged Reedsville's 886 votes.

Union Grove won a showdown of unbeaten Southern Lakes Conference teams on Friday, pulling away from Burlington for a 28-14 victory. While Burlington running back Zach Wallace scored two short rushing touchdowns, the Union Grove defense limited him to just 16 yards overall on 12 carries. Broncos quarterback Nash Wolf completed seven-of-13 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns, with Nick Williams adding 131 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite team can be named WSN Team of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 7 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
