De Pere junior Jordan Meulemans has been selected as the VNN Athlete of the Week after a vote on WisSports.net

There were 6,888 total votes this week. Jordan topped all vote getters with 2,484 votes. Racine St. Catherine's Kamari McGee came in second with 2,340 votes.

De Pere picked up a trio of victories this past week, behind the strong play of Meulemans. She tallied 21 points as the Redbirds throttled Ashwaubenon 72-28. The crafty guard followed that up with 29 points in a 75-49 win over Division 3, eighth-ranked Wrightstown. She finished the week with 19 points as De Pere topped Division 2, fourth-ranked West De Pere 63-56.

This week, the Redbirds picked up another pair of wins and Meulemans continued to impress. She scored a game high 21 points in a 57-48 win over Pulaski and followed it up with another game high 26 points in a 58-41 win over Oshkosh West. De Pere sits at seventh in the WSN Coaches Poll in Division 1.
