Week 5 WisSports.net Girls Basketball Coaches Poll

Division 1

Germantown continues to hold down the top spot in the Division 1 WSN Coaches Poll. Kimberly remains right behind at number two; the Papermakers did drop their first contest of the season on Monday, falling to Neenah (60-56). Kettle Moraine, Appleton East and De Pere round out the top five. 

Notable Games on Tuesday: Brookfield East at Germantown, De Pere at Bay Port, Mukwonago at Kettle Moraine, Oconomowoc at Waukesha West 

Division 2

Notre Dame is the new No. 1 in the WisSports.net Coaches Poll. The Tritons are 10-1 and their only loss was against Kimberly (65-57) in early December. New Berlin Eisenhower, which knocked off previously unbeaten Beaver Dam (72-68 in OT) on Saturday, moves up to No. 2 this week. Rounding out the top five are Beaver Dam, Reedsburg and Union Grove. 

Notable Games on Tuesday: Wilmot at Badger, Notre Dame at Pulaski, Grafton at Slinger, Rhinelander at Lakeland 

Division 3

Freedom continues to hold down the No. 1 ranking in the Division 3 WSN Coaches Poll. Prairie du Chien, Lake Mills, Catholic Memorial and Oostburg join the Irish in the top five of the coaches poll. 

Notable Games on Tuesday: Freedom at Luxemburg-Casco, Lake Mills at Martin Luther, Random Lake at Oostburg, Lancaster at Prairie du Chien 

Division 4

The WSN Coaches Poll in Division 4 has Marshall remaining in the top spot. Aquinas is right behind in the voting and the rest of the top five includes Winnebago Lutheran, Howards Grove and Mishicot. 

Notable Games on Tuesday: Marshall at Lakeside Lutheran, Loyal at Neillsville, Merrill at Wittenberg-Birnamwood, Mishicot at Howards Grove, Cuba City at Richland Center, Osseo-Fairchild, Waunakee at Aquinas

Division 5

Top-ranked Black Hawk extended its winning streak to 60 games after defeating previously unbeaten Albany on Monday, 72-52. The Warriors are one win away from tying Cuba City's 61-game winning streak (2014-16) for the seventh-longest streak in girls' basketball state history. The rest of the top five in the coaches poll includes Prairie Farm, Blair-Taylor, Bangor and Albany. 

Notable Games on Tuesday: Royall at Bangor, Assumption at Stratford, Marathon at Edgar, Mellen at Drummond
