Week 6 WisSports.net Girls Basketball Coaches Poll

Division 1

The top five remain the same as last week in the WSN Coaches Poll. Unbeaten Germantown leads the way, followed by Kimberly, Kettle Moraine, Appleton East and De Pere. 

Notable Games on Tuesday: De Pere at Notre Dame, Germantown at Brookfield Central, Kettle Moraine at Arrowhead, Greenfield at Oak Creek, Kaukauna at Neenah, Kimberly at Appleton East 

Division 2

Notre Dame holds down the top spot in the Division 2 WisSports.net Coaches Poll. New Berlin Eisenhower, Beaver Dam, Union Grove and Reedsburg round out the top five. Kaukauna and DeForest join the rankings this week. 

Notable Games on Tuesday: Wilmot at Union Grove, De Pere at Notre Dame, Beaver Dam at Sauk Prairie, Cedarburg at Slinger, Hortonville at Appleton North, Kaukauna at Neenah, Mosinee at Lakeland

Division 3

Freedom continues to hold down to No. 1 ranking in the D3 coaches poll. The rest of the top five features Prairie du Chien, Lake Mills, Oostburg and Catholic Memorial. Joining the rankings this week is Edgewood, which had been ranked earlier in the season. 

Notable Games on Tuesday: Luxemburg-Casco at Freedom, Martin Luther at Dominican, New Richmond at Baldwin-Woodville, Brodhead at Turner, Two Rivers at Brillion, Edgewood at Watertown, Richland Center at Dodgeville, Shullsburg at Prairie du Chien, Watertown Luther Prep at Lake Mills 

Division 4

Top-ranked Marshall is once again the top-ranked team in the Division 4 WSN Coaches Poll. Unbeaten Aquinas is right behind the Cardinals in the voting. Fellow unbeaten teams in Winnebago Lutheran, Howards Grove, Bonduel and Unity are in spots three through six. Osseo-Fairchild, another unbeaten team in D4, joins the rankings this week. 

Notable Games on Tuesday: Aquinas at Holmen, Lancaster at Platteville, Stratford at Bonduel 

Division 5

Top-ranked Black Hawk extended its winning streak to 62 games on Saturday. The Warriors are now tied with Durand (1985-87) for the sixth-longest winning streak in girls' basketball state history. Unbeaten Prairie Farm is No. 2 in the rankings and are followed by Bangor, Albany and Randolph in the top five. Unbeaten Wauzeka-Steuben joins the coaches poll for the first time this season. 

Notable Games on Tuesday: Wabeno/Laona at St. Mary Catholic, Independence at Cochrane-Fountain City, Northwood at Clear Lake, Shullsburg at Prairie du Chien
