Black Hawk's win streak hits 64; Bjorge drops 35; other notable performances; plus additions to 1,000-point club

Butler tallies career-best 36 points to push Black Hawk's win streak to 64

Black Hawk senior Bailey Butler, a 5-foot-8 point guard, tallied a career-best 36 points in Friday's 68-51 win over Albany. She added 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals for the Warriors, winners of their past 64 games (6th longest streak in girls basketball state history). Butler, a UW-Green Bay signee, has scored at least 30 points in eight of Black Hawk's 10 games this season. She is averaging a state-best 30.7 points and 8.5 assists per game while also contributing 8.7 rebounds and 6.6 steals per game for coach Mike Flanagan and the Warriors, 10-0 overall and 6-0 in the Six Rivers East. Black Hawk is three wins away from 5th-place on the all-time

De Pere's Bjorge drops 35

De Pere freshman Claire Bjorge scored a career-best 35 points in a 86-45 win over Green Bay Southwest on Saturday. The 5-foot-7 guard added seven rebounds and five assists in the victory. Bjorge is averaging 11.6 points per game for coach Jeremy Boileau and the Redbirds, 14-2 overall. 

Eggebrecht nets career-high 38 points

Phillips junior Jada Eggebrecht netted a career-high 38 points in a 72-47 victory against Prentice on Thursday. She shot 17-for-23 from the floor and added four assists, six steals and two blocks in the win. Eggebrecht is averaging 24.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 4.5 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest for coach Mike Eggebrecht and the Loggers, 14-1 overall and 9-0 in the Marawood North. 

Millan scores 36 for Florence

Florence freshman Isabella Millan finished with a career-high 36 points in Thursday's 55-54 win over Elcho. She added 13 rebounds, four assists and six blocks in the victory. Millan, a 5-foot-8 wing/guard, is averaging 18.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 3.1 steals and 1.3 blocks per contest for coach Brad Perry and the Bobcats, 5-8 overall and 3-3 in the Northern Lakes. 

Additions to 1,000-Point Club

Germantown senior Jaelyn Acker, a 5-foot-7 guard, scored her 1,000th career point in Friday's 72-54 victory against DSHA. She finished the game with 15 points, six rebounds, three assists and seven steals. Acker, an NCAA Division I Cal Baptist signee, is averaging 12.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 3.9 steals per game for coach Matt Stuve and the Warhawks, 17-1 overall and 10-1 in the Greater Metro. 

Prairie du Chien junior Lily Krahn (5-10) joined the 1,000-point club in Friday's 58-34 victory against Platteville. She finished the game with 23 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Krahn, who holds numerous NCAA Division I offers, is averaging 21.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 3.2 steals per game for coach Paula Shedivy and the Blackhawks, 11-1 overall and 5-0 in the SWC. 

Catholic Memorial senior Alyssa Nimz, a 6-foot-1 forward, netted her 1,000th career point in Saturday's 69-50 win over Oconomowoc. She tallied 22 points and five rebounds in the victory to become the first 1,000-point scorer in program history. Nimz, an NCAA Division II Northern Michigan signee, is averaging 18.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 2.3 steals and 2.0 blocks per contest for coach Nikki Nellen and the Crusaders, 11-4 overall and 5-3 in the Classic Eight. 

Sevastopol senior Zoe Kuehn (5-8) finished with 20 points and scored her 1,000th career point in Saturday's 50-42 win over Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy. She is averaging 17.9 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game for coach Ben Rikkola and the Pioneers, 5-4 overall and 5-3 in the Packerland.
