Week 9 WisSports.net Girls Basketball Coaches Poll

Division 1

Top-ranked Kimberly topped Beaver Dam, 53-50, on Saturday to move to improve to 21-1 on the year. Germantown (21-1) is right behind Kimberly in the rankings and spots three through six feature Brookfield Central (19-2), Appleton East (18-3), Beaver Dam (18-2) and Hudson (16-0). 

Division 2

Notre Dame continues to hold down to top-spot in the D2 WSN Coaches Poll. The Tritons are winners of their past 18 games and are 20-1 entering Thursday's matchup against D1 No. 7 De Pere. The rest of the top five features New Berlin Eisenhower (18-4), Reedsburg (13-1), Freedom (19-1) and Waupun (15-3). 

Division 3

Top-ranked Aquinas has won its past 32 games and haven't lost to an in-state opponent since the 2017-18 season (92 games). The Blugolds are currently in quarantine and won't be able to add to that number until next week when the playoffs begin. The rest of the top five includes Lake Mills (18-1), Prairie du Chien (14-1), Winnebago Lutheran (17-0) and Howards Grove (19-1). Bonduel (18-0) is also undefeated and move up two spots to No. 8 this week in the very competitive division. Laconia (17-5) also joins the rankings this week after knocking off Marshall, 39-30, on Friday. 

Division 4

Top-ranked Mishicot handed D3 No. 5 Howards Grove its first loss of the season on Monday night, defeating the Tigers 57-52. Bangor (14-1), Randolph (18-3), Mineral Point (12-5) and Crandon (13-4) continue to remain in spots two through five in the WSN Coaches Poll. 

Division 5

Top-ranked Black Hawk extended its winning streak to 71 games on Monday night when they cruised to an 88-39 win over Pecatonica. The Warriors now own the third-longest winning streak in girls' basketball state history. The rest of the top five of the WisSports.net Coaches Poll is the same as last week, featuring Prairie Farm (13-2), Albany (14-2), Royall (16-3) and McDonell Central (7-3).
