Senior Girls Basketball Awards: Post Finalists

Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The finalists for the top senior post award have been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. 

Chloe Dallas, Wauwatosa East - Tosa East had its struggles this year, finishing just 3-17, but Dallas was a one-woman wrecking crew, as the 6-2 senior forward averaged 20.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game for the Raiders. She also went over the 1000-point mark for her career, finishing with three games of at least 30 points this season.

Morgann Gardner, Racine Lutheran - Gardner, a 6-2 forward who has committed to Division 1 Nebraska-Omaha, scored more than 1500 points in her four-year career, averaging at least 13 per game each season. It was capped off by a senior year that saw her help the Crusaders to a share of the Metro Classic title after averaging 21.2 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. 

Audrey Hatfield, Hudson - The Raiders are unbeaten heading into a sectional semi-final showdown with Wisconsin Rapids, and the 6-2 senior has dominated the interior. Hatfield averages 11.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per contest for the undefeated Raiders.

Anna Lutz, Marshall - Lutz is a four-year varsity standout for Marshall and part of state championship teams as a freshman and sophomore. As the Cardinals head to sectionals this week, she is just shy of 2000 career points, sitting at 1,908 after averaging 17.9 per game as a senior. The UW-Milwaukee recruit also averages 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game to stuff the stat sheet.

Alyssa Nimz, Catholic Memorial - The Crusaders finished 17-8 overall and fourth in the tough Classic Eight Conference, as Nimz led the team in scoring at 20.4 points per game. The 6-1 Northern Michigan recruit was second on the team with 8.8 rebounds per game, adding 2.1 blocks, 2.1 steals, and 1.8 assists per contest.

Chloe Van Zeeland, Kaukauna - Van Zeeland, an Illinois State recruit, has been one of the top interior players in the state the past four seasons. With more than 1200 career points, she is averaging 15.2 per game as a senior to go with 7.8 rebounds per contest. Not only that, she averages 3.2 assists, 2.7 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game.
