Cameron junior Tanner Gerber has been selected as the VNN Athlete of the Week after a vote on WisSports.net

There were 5,497 total votes this week. Gerber topped all vote getters with 2,157 votes. Two River's Matty Bianchi came in a close second with 2,051 votes.

Gerber went into this state weekend looking to win his third state title in as many years at Cameron High School. As a sophomore he won at the 106 weight class and followed it up with a win in the 113 pound class as a junior. This season he took home his third title at 126 with a 7-1 decision in the finals to secure it.

As just a junior, Gerber will enter next season looking to become the 20th ever to win four state titles in his prep career.
