The Greenfield Hustlin' Hawks have been selected as the Week 4 WSN Spring Team of the Week following a statewide vote on WSN. The team scored an exciting last-minute victory over league foe Whitnall. The Hustlin' Hawks were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 4. A total of 5,961 votes were cast, as Greenfield's 2,094 votes edged Brodhead/Juda's 1,871 votes.

Greenfield should be celebrated every week for having one of the state's coolest nicknames: the Hustlin' Hawks. Coming off a loss to Greendale last week, the Hawks had to do some hustlin' against unbeaten Whitnall in Week 4. The game was back-and-forth the whole way, tied late into the fourth quarter. With less than a minute remaining, Jordan Esquivel went in from five yards out for the game-winner as Greenfield celebrated a 21-14 victory. The Greenfield defense was outstanding, holding Whitnall to negative-ten rushing yards on 27 attempts and just 147 yards of total offense.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite team can be named WSN Team of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 5 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
