The Racine Case Eagles have been selected as the Week 5 WSN Spring Team of the Week following a statewide vote on WSN. The team rallied to take down crosstown rival Racine Park. The Eagles were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 5. A total of 2,694 votes were cast, as Racine Case's 1,014 votes edged La Crosse Logan's 663 votes.

Racine Case trailed crosstown rival Racine Park 14-0 early on, but the Eagles rallied to get back in the game in the third quarter, and came back one more time in the fourth to score a 30-26 win over the Panthers. Kobe Brown scored the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 10-yard touchdown, as he finished with 155 yards and two scores on 18 carries. Gavin Gutman and Ben Brawner combined to completed 15-of-25 passes for 203 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite team can be named WSN Team of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 6 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
