Favorite Sport (and why): "My favorite sport is basketball. I’ve loved it since I was little. It’s a game that I’ve always enjoyed playing and that I know a lot about. I love that it’s a team sport and the focus isn’t just on one player, and I love how intense it can get. I love that you have the ability to shoot and make plays for other teammates. I also love how you can control the tempo of the game because you can’t do that in every sport."

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): My favorite part of being involved in high school sports is easily the family aspect. Each team I’m a part of is a second family to me, and I will forever be grateful for that. Not only are the teams I’m a part of close, but the sports teams overall. The support we have for each other is incredible."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "A winner has a bad memory."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: My most memorable moment in high school would have to be a pretty recent one. During this past volleyball season, we played Bangor in the regional finals, and we won in four. The emotions on our team and in the bleachers were insane! We ran to our student section and it was crazy; it was the loudest cheering and most electrifying thing that I have and probably will ever be a part of. Then all of us, the team and the student section, got in a huddle and broke down on 'family' and it was the most amazing experience. I get goosebumps whenever I think about it."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "The best part of playing three sports is that I always have something to do. I like keeping myself busy and by being a part of a sport all year round, I’m able to stay in pretty decent shape. I also love that it gives me the opportunity to build friendships with so many of the kids at school that I probably wouldn’t have gotten to know very well otherwise."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "I think the toughest part about playing three sports is when each season ends. I love the sports I’m in, but everyone gets so invested and it’s really hard when you have to move on to the next sport, especially this year knowing I won’t get another high school season; it would be awesome if the seasons could last forever. I wish there was a realistic way to play all three sports at once all year round."

Favorite Opponent (and why): "My favorite opponents would have to be Emma Gruen and the Bangor girls, Haley Jones and Megan Miedema. Emma and I are in the same sports and have been competing against each other since middle school. We push each other and because of it, we have both had many athletic successes! I love Haley and Megan! They are two of my closest friends and I love that we are able to compete with each other on the court, but we are also each others’ number one fans."

Favorite Professional Team: "The Pack baby!! I love watching football so much! It is definitely my favorite sport to watch! Green and gold all the way!"

Favorite Professional Athlete: "Aaron Jones by a landslide! He’s one of my idols. He’s a running back for Green Bay and although he’s got game, it’s his personality and heart that I look up to the most. He’s a pretty little guy but he plays with so much heart and I think that’s where his success comes from. He has high expectations for himself and competes until he accomplishes those expectations. On top of that, he’s one of the most respectful guys to play the game."

Favorite College Team: "The Wisconsin Badgers, especially the volleyball team!"

Cumulative GPA: 4.098

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): "The toughest individual I’ve ever competed against would probably be Emma Lawrence. She is a beast at all of the sports she plays and although I only ran against her in track and field briefly, she pushed me so much and I am so thankful for that."

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "One person who I have always admired, even though she wasn’t a teammate of mine, is Jamie Schmitz. She is an amazing athlete and an even better person. I remember watching her play sports in high school and I wanted to be just like her; I don’t think she realizes how much of an impact she made on me. My freshman year, I
picked number 31 for my basketball jersey number because that was her number. She has had more of an impact on me than she even realizes."

College Plans: "I will be going to UW-Eau Claire to continue playing basketball and to earn a degree in communications/sports management or something related to that. My end goal is to be a D1 college athletic director."

Activities Outside of Sports: "Hanging out with my friends and family, hiking, working out, watching tv series/movies, going out to eat."

I Find it Relaxing to: "Watch thunderstorms and sunsets, read books, get a massage, take a nap, anything that doesn’t involve much physical activity."

Favorite TV Show: "I love The Golden Girls! My Grandpa and I always watch it together."
