Favorite Sport (and why): "Basketball - I had amazing coaches and teammates throughout my years of playing the sport, and always have felt happiest when on the court. I feel like it is what I’m most talented in, and I love the thrill of hitting a shot or making a perfect pass to get a teammate an opportunity."

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): "My favorite part of high school sports is the bonds you created with your fellow teammates. There is no better feeling than being in a packed gym either participating, or cheering on your friends and making memories along the way. Sports make school fun, and help bring people together outside the walls of the classroom."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “'Always give 100 percent effort 100 percent of the time.' My dad, who is the assistant varsity girls basketball coach has said this for as long as I can remember. What sets the great apart from the good is how hard a person is willing to work in all circumstances - not just in games, not just in practice, but even when nobody's watching."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "In the first game of my senior year, which also was my first game in nearly two years after tearing both of my ACLs, I hit a wild shot at the buzzer to get my team the win. It was also one of the first big events since the pandemic shut everything down, and a lot of my friends and family were there to see it. That very moment was what I never thought I would experience again after my injuries. I had been working to get back for two years, and there was no greater feeling than seeing all that hard work pay off."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "Being from a smaller school, it is not uncommon to see athletes playing multiple sports. Through basketball, softball and volleyball, we have a core group that plays all three, and it has been the most amazing experience getting to spend so much time with the best friends those sports gave me. I also feel like the momentum from success in the previous sport helps carry over success to the next. I also think it is so important to get my body active in more ways than just picking one sport."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "There isn’t much I find tough about playing three sports simply because I love staying busy and constantly having a sport to participate in, but sometimes it gets hard to stay dedicated when there isn’t much of a break in the school year."

Favorite Opponent (and why): "Laconia girls basketball - Laconia is always good and plays hard and it usually is one of our biggest games of the year. Through my high school years, we only beat them twice, both coming in my senior year, which was two of our most exciting wins. They always bring a ton of fans, so the gym is usually packed. I also have former AAU teammates on that team, and I've always enjoyed playing against friends."

Favorite Professional Team: The US Women's National Soccer team

Favorite Professional Athlete: Alex Morgan or Sabrina Ionescu

Favorite College Team: BYU Women's Basketball or anything Wisconsin Badgers

Cumulative GPA: 3.8

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): "Abbie Aalsma/Kayl Peterson. When my team played Waupun this year, I knew the game would have to be my toughest game defensively. They are both outstanding players who can shoot and drive extremely well. Defense is not the strongest part of my game, but I had to work extra hard this game on defense to help my team stop them."

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "Jena Krueger - Jena was a senior when I was a freshman. She played the same sports I did, and really took me under her wing when I was brought up to varsity as a freshman. She worked so hard and was very talented but always stayed humble in her successes."

College Plans: "I am going to Bemidji State University in Minnesota to study Sports Management and play Division II basketball."

Activities Outside of Sports: "I enjoy spending time with friends, watching TV shows, biking, swimming, and working out."

I Find it Relaxing to: "I love going on long bike rides on trails while listening to music or podcasts."

Favorite TV Show: One Tree Hill or Grey’s Anatomy

Favorite Movie: The Greatest Showman

Favorite Musical Artist: Luke Bryan

Favorite Subject: Chemistry

Favorite Restaurant: Culver's

Favorite Website: Instagram

Other Family Members: "My parents' names are Tanya and John, and I have two younger sisters named Averie and Addyson."
