Football Week 4 Prep Props: State's Top Performances

Prep Props - Week 4

Prep Props is our weekly look at the best individual statistical performances in the state, with the leaders in rushing yards, passing yards, and receiving yards. Prep Props is published every Monday morning, and for players to be included, coaches must enter game stats by 8 am on Monday.

Coaches, if you do not have access or need assistance entering stats info, please contact us ASAP. Players, parents, and fans, if you do not see your favorite player's stats here, please encourage your team's coach to enter stats info on WSN by the weekly deadline.

Week 4 Rushing Leaders

Medford was locked in a tough one with Lakeland on Friday night, clinging to a 24-20 lead in the third quarter. However, Aiden Gardner went in for his fourth touchdown of the game a bit later in the period to give the Raiders a cushion and they pulled away for a 45-20 victory. Gardner carried the ball 31 times in the game for 352 yards and four touchdowns. He showed his breakaway ability with scores of 78 and 93 yards for the Raiders.

Week 4 Passing Leaders

Weyauwega-Fremont hung tough with Spencer/Columbus Catholic, even leading 28-27 in the fourth quarter before Spencer/Columbus Catholic rallied with three late scores to claim a 48-28 win. The passing attack carried the day for Weyauwega-Fremont, as Hunter Meisenhelder completed 23-of-39 passes for 366 yards and three touchdowns, though he did also throw a pair of interceptions.

Week 4 Receiving Leaders

Cadott and Menominee Indian was a very late add to the schedule for Week 4, as the teams connected Thursday in advance of Friday's contest. There was plenty of scoring, despite the short notice, as Cadott pulled away for a 54-26 victory. Menominee Indian had nearly 500 yards of offense in the loss, most of it coming through the air. Senior Bryce Dixon did most of the damage on the receiving end, hauling in eight passes for 282 yards and three touchdowns from Devin Beaulieu-Morgan, as his scoring catches came from 49, 51, and 80 yards out.
